A Very Good Mech Book

I'll admit that I was a bit wary of getting into this book but I was pretty much hooked from the get-go. Can't wait for more in the series. I do have a complaint, however, I'm not sure if it was the Narrator or Author but could you all please choose between him being a Warrant Officer or a Sergeant? It's a big difference and I wouldn't have had an issue if it only happened once but throughout the entire story it was like his rank/position was in Limbo. Not sure if you've ever met a WO or CWO but the way they act and are treated is very different from the MC, not to mention even Officers usually show them some respect because of how good they are in their field. Also, on a related note, I met a unicorn once (if you know, you know. Rah.). Otherwise amazing book.

Well I don't know if I can put how amazing this book is into words other than, beautiful. Hits absolutely all of the bullets and the performance felt like I was watching a hit movie. I eagerly await the next book so please hurry! Thank you for letting me listen to this beautiful book!

Amazing but please slow down...

Love the books and anxiously wait for the next one but the narrator really needs to slow down with his reading. Honestly felt like someone left the fast forward on while we were listening. Other than that, 10/10!

Personally, I really do like this book. In fact this is the first review I've left for a book because I feel the author deserves some opinions. Anyway, the plot was good but the book itself seemed a little fast and kind of jumpy. At times I felt it hard to tell who we were following at that particular time and it seemed like we kind of skipped through time, and what I mean by that is I have absolutely no idea how long each event in the book took or how far apart they were. Perhaps that's just me not paying attention though. At any rate, book was great and would be 5 stars if the character PoV change issue mentioned above was addressed. and I can't wait to continue the adventure!
