A fun action based romance

The narrator did such a good job portraying a flirty, oblivious monster and a gruff, jaded human
the ultimate grumpy-sunshine trope. it's a good found family story with some government-level intrigue and ridiculous pick up lines.
the spice is maybe 3/5 but the book is still worth the read.

I loved this! the narrator did a fantastic job handling the antics of our favorite murder baby supes. I've read the book, but couldn't resist checking out the audiobook, since I'm a simp for a good bookish listen. I 110% was not disappointed, even though I thought maybe Captain Masculine was going to sound like The Tick cartoon from the 90s... "SPOON!!!!!"

Stunning first audiobook by Fenn!

Shane East did a phenomenal job with the story, the pacing, the characters, their emotions... ALL of it! I have read this book many times, and his performance still made me cry in the sad boi parts of the book.

I am fully convinced everything Finley Fenn touches is indeed golden. Highly recommend!!!! Can't wait for the next one!!!

This was a gripping tale!

I loved the story written with such creative twists on old legends of Ireland! I liked the alternate history line and the reasons for the potato blight.
The main characters were so brilliantly relatable and their journey both love and acceptance feels measured and sincere. The love scenes are hot and lovely.
The actors both were able to read in accents that didn'tdistract from the story itself. Sometimes it's really hard to find narrators who can sustain a good Irish accent - especially for multiple characters.
Super exciting to have discovered a new author and series to obsess over! ❤☘
