Feels like sim kind of atompunk, but I guess that's how he back then imagined the future! And that is one of the things that makes the book amazing:) Also, it's a very interesting idea of a world and it's well written and narrated.

It's not an easy book

I loved this book, but if you are not a fan of hard sci-fi, consider whether to go for it. The world is very interesting and it's fascinating how the author could picture life in a completely different space-time, but it takes effort to understand (of course). If you are not afraid to test your imagination however, then enjoy.

Where does The Lies of Locke Lamora rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I listened to several audio books and I would place it to the second place after songs of ice and fire.
What other book might you compare The Lies of Locke Lamora to and why?
Somewhat it associates with The Rise of the blue moon. It has a nice sense of humor but not diminishing the seriousness of the story...
