Story is good, narration was at times just awful.

Great continuation of the story, bad narrator

The narrator was... Well I won't say awful, but there were time where I was question his ability to speak English. Mispronounced words, funky pronounced military jargon, and weird tones when reading certain sections made this somewhat difficult to listen to at times. The story itself kept me engrossed.

Story was like a 10 year old wrote it

Don't get me started on the performance, there was almost no inflection in his voice. The story itself was just... Bad. No comparison to the previous story. The characters made few decisions that make sense and they didn't feel developed at all. They make the same exact mistakes throughout the story. The story itself repeats itself, many of the scenes feel recycled. I'll never read a book by this author or read by the this narrator again.

Irritating, stupid conduct by the good guys

Most of the story is pretty good but....

It's amazing, the bad guys, untrained and trained alike are all able to herd and control zombies willy nilly, while the good guys continuously get swarmed by the same and are constantly walking into ambush points even AFTER running into ambush' previously. Many times these are combat vets who would know better. Manufacturing drama for drama' sake is crap.

So, the story in and of itself was pretty good. The performer was.... well, not. Really did not fit the story and he couldn't even pronound gyro correctly. A greek or mediteranean gyro, pronounced yeero, NOT geero.

I really like this series. The one thing that is kind of annoying is the in-depth description of people getting beat on while the main character or another character just sits there and watches. I mean, we're talking about a group of heavily armed individuals here but they watch as something or someone just hammers on one of their own. I just don't buy it.

Try to make decision making of characters more realistic instead of forcing drama. Some of the conclusions these characters come to are..... ridiculous

I really tried to like this series but in the end, it got so ridiculous I just stopped listening.

While I enjoyed the story overall, the thing that annoyed me was the same mistake that most sci-fi authors. Nukes in space are NOT very good weapons as they have to impact your target to do any real damage. There is no atmosphere in space and therefor no shockwaves which means the only thing doing damage is the heat, radiation and the initial explosion radius.

Dumbest dumb person EVER

Listening to the main character make decisions almost physically hurt. Lacking logic, Common sense, and anything that even remotely equates to intelligence. The amount of times I wanted to slam my head against the wall during this story made it very difficult to listen to. If it was possible, the character appeared to get dumber as the story progressed.

The premise was bit out there and there were solutions that were pretty easy to implement, but overall, the situations that the main character found himself in during a survival situation were believable.
