Historia
When a pirate captain and her crew steal an ancient Prophecy Medallion, Anne, Penelope, and Hiro are caught up in yet another adventure. After accidentally activating a quest, Anne and her friends have no choice but to complete the task and deliver the medallion to the supreme pirate ruler, Octo-Horse-Pirate. But the quest and the medallion are not what they seem, and Octo-Horse-Pirate is no run-of-the-mill villain. To complete the quest, Anne will have to uncover the truth about her mysterious past—and, just maybe, save the whole world in the process.

Great book, narration wasn’t great
Revisado: 07-23-23
The book was amazing (although at first the last few chapters were very confusing) and the narrator was ok, except for the voices of Penelope, Marri and Jeffery. Penelope’s voice sounds squeakier than her personality calls for, Marri’s voice sounds just plain unbearable, and Jeffery, although described as having a very squeaky voice, has a slightly deep voice with a British accent for some reason. I highly recommend the book, but if these voices are going to bother you, get a physical copy instead.

Historia
They have always scared him in the past - the Rangers, with their dark cloaks and shadowy ways. The villagers believe the Rangers practice magic that makes them invisible to ordinary people. And now 15-year-old Will, always small for his age, has been chosen as a Ranger's apprentice. What he doesn't yet realize is that the Rangers are the protectors of the kingdom. Highly trained in the skills of battle and surveillance, they fight the battles before the battles reach the people. And as Will is about to learn, there is a large battle brewing.

Historia
Coke and Pepsi McDonald didn’t want to jump off a cliff. They didn't want to get hit by poisoned darts from blowguns either. And they certainly don't want to get locked in their burning school, thrown into a pit at the top of a sand dune, or drowned in a vat of liquefied Spam. But what are you supposed to do when you’re being chased across the country by your insane health teacher and two guys in bowler hats who are trying to kill you? One thing's for sure, it'll be a snap for Coke and Pep to write their essays on "How I Spent My Summer Vacation."

Great story with mediocre narration
Revisado: 06-01-23
So yeah, the book was great in and of itself. Same goes for the others in the series. But I do feel like the narrator could have tried harder to do some of the voices. The males all sound the same, and the females sound pretty similar too; just slightly higher pitched. I can’t even tell if Coke or Pep is speaking at times. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the plot line though.

AMAZING
Revisado: 03-21-23
I don’t know what to say to fill this space except how overall how incredible this book is. I had already read it before but the plot twist with Alden (don’t worry, I won’t say any more) still had me on the edge of my seat. The narration was also very good but I felt that all the male voices except the Vackers’ and Sandor sounded basically the same. Good variation on the girls though. Overall very much recommend.

Historia
The first time I heard about Planet Choom, we'd been on Mars for almost a year. But life on the Mars station was grim, and since Earth was no longer an option (we may have blown it up), it was time to find a new home. That's how we ended up on Choom with the Zhuri. They're very smart. They also look like giant mosquitos. But that's not why it's so hard to live here. The Zhuri don't like us. And if humankind is going to survive, it's up to my family to change their minds. No pressure.

No feelings for the main character whatsoever
Revisado: 08-13-22
This book was downright boring. I know that’s a weird thing to say about a sci-fi novel, but it’s true. There was absolutely zero character development; I couldn’t describe the main character (what’s his name?) even if I wanted to. We don’t get to know what really causes the crash landing until the end. It got to where I was only listening out of boredom. The narrator was mediocre. He was way over the top and melodramatic.

Historia
Zero is just one of 20,000 people aboard a spaceship bound for a new planet set to be colonized. The journey is over a century long but luckily, everyone is in stasis, so they’ll be safe and sound asleep during the trip. Everyone that is, except for Zero, whose pod has malfunctioned, waking him up a hundred years early. His initial excitement in roaming the ship alone quickly turns to a heart-stopping interstellar adventure when a family of space pirates show up, trying to hijack the ship and take the colonizers hostage.

Good story, bad voice acting
Revisado: 07-26-22
The book is a wonderfully witty space caper. But the voice acting was terrible. The narrator was ok, but Zero and Nyx sound kiddish and whiny. However this does not detract much from the story, so I still highly recommend it.
