Historia
Queen Cimorene, Morwen the witch, and a host of other characters once again foil the plots of the perfidious wizards in this third volume of the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. This time, the dastardly wizards have stolen King Mendanbar's magic sword, vital to the health of the forest, right out of the castle armory.

My favorite in the series!
Revisado: 08-16-20
My favorite in the series, maybe mostly because of Fiddlesticks, Arglefraster, and what happens with head wizard Zemenar and Arona Michaelear Vamist. ;-) If you haven't read yet, then that's all I'll say on the matter, but if you have read you know what I mean. :-D the only downside is Telemain (his just sounds annoying and hesitant where I never ever felt he was hesitant wheni reading the books) and Killer's voice makes him sound not intelligent and scared, and I always felt like he was scared and foolish which would sound different than not intelligent. The story itself is great and I've known it since I was about 12 and I'm 37 now. I highly encourage you to listen and if the voices get to you, switch to the books cause they really are a great read. :-)

Historia
The Theogony (composed c. 700 BC) is a poem by Hesiod (8th-7th century BC) describing the origins and genealogies of the Greek gods. A theogony is a part of Greek mythology which attempts to articulate reality as a whole. Hesiod's work is a synthesis of various local Greek traditions concerning the gods, organized as a narrative that tells of their origin and how they established control over the Cosmos.

Narrator is very calming
Revisado: 05-17-20
I really enjoy this narrator, she has a wonderful tone. I felt welcomed into the story, and not over whelmed or intimidated which I think can happen sometimes when you are faced with classic literature. I am going to also get her version of the Odyessy and the Illiad as well.

Ah-ken-nah-tahn ???
Revisado: 06-23-19
Narrator mispronounced several Egyptian names and objects. The history nerd in me kept correcting her in my mind. "Ah-ken-nah-tahn" should be "Ah-ken-na-ten" for example. You can hear where the publisher went back and spliced in the correct pronunciation. Also, the recording has weird moments where it sounds like the narrator has say further away from the microphone. There is noticeable "mouth noise" in the background so you can hear the narrator's "c's" and "th" words. Also, monotone through out. Yeah no, can't finish listening, will try and kindle the rest."

Meh
Revisado: 06-22-19
Not bad, not great, principal couple just kinda...get together? The last chapter leaves some lines of dialogue that maybe, probably?, will come up in later books? I'll give the next book in the series a try, hopefully, like in the case of sorceress of his own and randevous with yesterday, there will be marked improvement in character development.

Enjoyed more than "sorceress of his own"
Revisado: 06-22-19
Enjoyable plot as it doesn't rinse and repeat the previous book. Hoping the author maybe does a story about a secondary character who was in both books. And honestly think Lord Robert is a step up from Lord Dylan, character wise. He has real growth from the previous book to this one.

Historia
Since the day Lord Dillon earned his spurs, rumors of his savagery on the battlefield have preceded him into every room, stilling tongues and sparking fear. Weary of battle, he wishes only to find a woman he can wed who will approach him not with fear but with the tenderness that has been absent from his life for so long. Yet only the wisewoman seems invariably at ease in his presence.

Would you like another sex scene?
Revisado: 06-17-19
So, there were more sex scenes than one might usually see in a romance book, they aren't terribly graphic, just seemed very frequent. Story is good, if a bit predictable, but sometimes that can be just right if you are in the mood. Narrator has a lovely velvety voice. Going to see if there are more books about these characters. :)
