Historia
In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women—mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends—view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

A Winner for All
Revisado: 09-02-13
What did you like best about this story?
These characters were truly believable. The swing of emotions leading to this book caused me to get some "looks".
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
A good understanding of the southern way of talk, how the accent accentuates the emotions being communicated.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did.

Historia
Ensconced in a lovely tropical villa on idyllic Triggerfish Lane, Jim Davenport anticipates the good life to come. But this isn't living -- it's Florida, and the neighborhood is not quite what it seems. It's got overly aggressive Little League parents, drug-free Rastafarians, homicidal hookers, unnatural sex and casual violence. Oh, yes, and there's a psychopathic serial killer-cum-Sunshine-State folklorist named Serge A. Storms living directly across the street.

Catch 22 in Florida
Revisado: 08-29-13
Would you listen to Triggerfish Twist again? Why?
Absolutely! I've gone back through chapters already as I missed some of the dry humor. This book caught me laughing out loud in the airport.
Who was your favorite character and why?
All the characters stood out. Serge was the leader.
Did George K. Wilson do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Yes although the voices weren't believable to the characters
If you could rename Triggerfish Twist, what would you call it?
Triggerfish Catch
