I love this story

I’ve read most of the series at this point, excellent storyline, and wonderfully written characters.

Historia
Four young lives now have to choose where they belong. To choose what and who they will fight for. Because no matter where they turn, the legacy of the past is inescapable. The Newlands already has settlers. The Outlands has a new leader. And danger has arrived in Askala. Hawk, Sam, Mercy, and Luca must work together or be swept away by a world even more divided than themselves. As the fight for survival becomes a fight for the future, as hearts yearn and secrets are protected, loyalties will be tested.

Love the story but
Revisado: 06-29-22
I love the story line but the characters aren’t as enjoyable as the first set. Wren was such a strong female character and the others were clever and likable. Their children are somehow oblivious. I find myself shouting “because she’s an idiot” whenever Sam’s name comes up. I mean I know she’s supposed to be book smart and naïve to the real world but she comes across as stupid and her inability to shut up is childish.
