I really enjoyed this book except for one thing. WHY MUST EVERY writer gratuitously use the F-Bomb!! Hardly any language until last 3rd of book then 27 F-Bombs before the end!!! I realize it is a widely accepted word these days but seriously! just throwing it in when it doesn't even make sense or when it isn't even an appropriate use ... I'm just over it! ruined a good book for me!

I am glad I ignored some of the reviews. This book was a bit over the top and no the narration wasn't on the level of Andi Ardt & Sabastian York ..but every book can't be ready by the same narrators.. it was good enough to enjoy the book. I

I just don't understand why authors don't listen to their narrators before we have to PAY to! I really liked this story! But Alexander Cendeese only needs to narrate older academic text books or 1800"s bodice rippers! This was just too uncomfortable!

I've become a big fan of this author. Stories have a little bit of everything! Mystery, intrigue, angst, REALITY, well developed characters , romance and hot sexy times!! Sabastian York is a no brainer.. but this female narrator is just NOT good! Why is she yelling 99% of the time? It's so offensive to my ears! Cringe worthy male voice attempts... I just continue to wonder if authors have ANY input on the narrator's of the books they spend so much time on & go the extra expense to have narrated... it just doesn't make sense! PLEASE! PLEASE! authors listen to your books before you put them out for us to spend money on. Even Sabastian York wasn't enough of a trade for this horrible female narrator ! She has gone on my Do Not Purchase list. it's a shame to think that 200+ authors are now out for me to listen to... I listen to an avg of 222/ year. Audible is my one sanity saver luxury... 😔

I just don't understand what happens with the narration choices in these books!! Does no one else listen to it before we are asked to pay for it?? I love a good series- but I can't make it through the end of this one. It's almost creepy listening to Rock Engle narrate Darby! Maybe Darby's 80 yr old grandfather. But NOT a 30 yr old man!! This book had so much potential to be a GREAT ENDING to the series. It's unfortunate that these Audio Books we are asked to spend $15-20 each on are so often ruined by the narrator. After all the comments on it I wonder why it hasn't been redone... just wish everyone would take a little more pride in the whole package... my Audio Books are my sanity saver! I can & have repeatedly gotten so engrossed & invested in the stories. It's such a wonderful get away for me.. this I was particularly looking forward to & it was just such a disappointment. I will be returning it. ☹️

I couldn't stop listening!! Louisa Bay just keeps getting better!! I'm a HUGE FAN of Lauren Blakely, Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland.... but Mrs Bay has QUICKLY become my go to! I've been more than a bit annoyed with the new Audible Plus Premium & the fact that 90% of the books I love are no longer "free"... I still pay the same fee, but get was has been way less than "B" rated Audible Originals.... Best Sellers like I mentioned before are not available.... so I guess Audible got it's wish & were all searching for something tolerable to listen to. That is unfortunately how I came across Louisa Bay. All that said- She is DEFINITELY the best find I've stumbled on in almost a year!

Female narrator ruined this book!

This book had alot going for it. The male narrator was fine. But the female was just not good! I think she was speaking at light speed! Yes I know how to adjust the speed & often do. But this one was not salvageable! Inflection , tone, bad accent ... I just had to stop a few chapters in & switched to the Kindle version.
