There are so many parts of this storyline that barely go anywhere. The author fills the book humour instead. And occasionally repeating parts from the two previous books. And then the book suddenly ends two thirds of the way through the story.

Most of the characters behave like absolute morons most of the time. It can be a bit funny at first but once you realise that the book has barely anything else to offer it quickly becomes unbearable.
I think I'm done following this series.

Great combo by Scalzi and Wheaton.

Great story and performance by Scalzi and Wheaton as usual.
Though I wish Wheaton could put just a tiny bit more effort in to using different voices for the different characters. it gets really difficult to tell who's staying what when most of the characters sound the same.

Surprisingly good

Another example of why you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
When I saw book I wasn't overly impressed with any part of it. But it was being given away for free at the moment so I thought "Why not? I have some time to kill". Now I'm glad I did.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of the series plays out.
