Historia
The Roman Empire became Christian in 323 AD; about two centuries later, the rest of Europe began to convert. Medieval culture blurred the line between the sacred and the secular. While political and religious hierarchies vied for influence, liberal arts education claimed to seek sacred truths through secular means. But when Aristotle's works were first translated from Arabic, there began a conflict between reason and faith. Franciscan John Duns Scotus was one philosopher who tried to bridge this gap.

production is annoying
Revisado: 09-23-21
Whenever they read a quote they use an accent for the author of the quote. A French author gets a French accent and an Arabic writer gets a middle eastern accent. People who want to learn about theology and philosophy are not looking for this kind of dramatization. This is acceptable for an adaptation of a novel but distracting in a work of nonfiction.

Material is excellent! Narration is painfully bad
Revisado: 05-29-21
The narrator does accents for all of the people quoted. French ,Brittish,Mexicans and Chinese immigrants all get this treatment. It is tremendously annoying. The book is excellent and worth reading.

This is audio of a workshop not the book on NVC
Revisado: 01-16-19
This is great material and worth listening to and learning. I should not punish this recording for my error but I do feel that I need to warn you. This is not the audio book for Marshall Rosenberg’s book on Non Violent communication. This is a workshop narrated by Marshall. This may be obvious to you- but it was not obvious to me.

Good information but not well suited for audio
Revisado: 04-11-11
I found this book to be very informative. I also found it quite frustrating to listen to it. The medical information was helpful but things get tricky when it comes time to putting it all into practice. The whole time I'm listening and thinking "I wish I bought a paper copy or an e book". I imagine that the paper copy has an appendix with the exercise plan as a table or chart. I found myself taking notes and even looking for these tables etc. online( no luck). The descriptions and schedules of exercises ,dosages of vitamin supplements dosages and other such information are much better suited for a printed page.
