So glad I discovered this book!

I was unsure of getting this book but I could hardly stop listening. Im grateful ive gotten to hear this perspective and learned alot. And My God, Imani is an amazing writing and a really good narrator, which is even more rare. I've listened to hundreds of hours of both fiction and non, and this one is in my top 3.
Things notables: 1. Very Well researched and insightful by lived experience 2. Impeccable, clear, and graceful writing 3. Nuanced, Respectful, Honest and entertaining. 4. I could go on...
I can't recommend this book enough. I've listened to it 3 times now, and likely again.

This is a forever book for me. We all struggle with "death", our own and loved ones. This book blew me away at how such a seemingly dark and difficult thing can be transformed with grace and deep connection to the mystery of the spirit world. She does not shy away from very real telling of life experiences through those she helps connect to loved ones. Honestly Her voice is angelic. If you want to know of True Hope and Healing in life and " death" get this book!!

This is a book I keep coming back to and learn more every time. Not a one and done listen like many others ive bought. You can feel the authors passion, groundedness, and wisdom (experienced) as she reads. Great love and a desire to help ppl is very apparent. Humility and gentleness with very deep topics does not prevent directness and hard to swallow truths. Highly recommended!!

I have been into Enneagram for about a year. Thought I was a 4. Turns out I'm a 9. I most loved the personal stories offered that really helped clarify and put feeling to all the types. Ian's podcast is a good addition to his book as well. Very accessible!
