Start this series with the prequel, it will help with setting and tone. Such a fun book, l enjoyed every minute. A straight forward tale with a few kinks of misdirection keeping it fun. Narrator is the same from Red Dead Redemption, and is PERFECT

I have enjoyed the movies from the 90s, and thought this would be a nice audio book with a good cast. This cas was better than good. A 150 year old book shows the lives of a family and friends in the most intimate of ways of friendship and sisterhood. I am a 56 year old man with a burly beard ...and full heartedly recommend this selection to anyone who wants a glimpse into the past.. especially for your women.

BIG WIN for this short story!

Full ensemble cast perform with excellence for a BIG WIN in this fantastic apocalyptic short story. I love a great story that has a cast that can carry it well. Also the sound effects and little bit of music have influence in a positive manner. Definitely worth a listen and l will be looking for the next chapter!

Like the movie "Truman"...on steroids

A privileged future for the rich...while the poor are so poor they are subjugated to a position in a false world acting as entertainment and the benefit of those who hold power over them. .. The storyline is unique and original SCI-FI at its best. Wheaton and the female narrator serve there rolls well as the layered story is shared with us. The future this story holds offers a view that at first glance may seem shiny to some... but it is one to guard against for sure.

A serious intro and journalistic study

I have respected and followed Michael Pollan for over a decade, ever since seeing him share truth in the documentary, Food Inc. All of his work is important, this in my opinion is his most important release of knowledge and information. Psychadelics have much to offer for human healing. They were used for millennia for good reasons. I am glad that there is new interest in scientific and therapy circles to help people explore and heal with these plant based medicines. Detroit 2021, is the latest city to decriminalize psychadelics. They are being studied with zeal in Ivy League Universities. Psychadelics need to be seen as medicine..and not as illicit drugs.
