Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

If you already watch the show...

What did you love best about A Game of Thrones?
I really liked listening to the first book. A friend recommended listening to an audiobook if you are already watching the show. The first book seemed like it could be a hard read with lots of character developing that you are already familiar with. I loved experiencing it this way!
Who was your favorite character and why?
The book really brings out Sansa's struggles and I found myself really feeling sorry for her and impressed by her strength at the same time. All the characters are amazing, though
What about Roy Dotrice’s performance did you like?
Its hard to do voices for so many characters. He was no Jim Dale (from harry potter) but he was good. I liked his drunken performances
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
this is already a fab series so I will say.. All Men Must Die

Amy Poehler, as loveable as I hoped.
Revisado: 01-23-15
What did you love best about Yes Please?
Amy's performance and style. It was like we were having a natural conversation in person.
What did you like best about this story?
It was really fun to hear her journey through comedy and quite impressive to hear how hard she worked. I really enjoyed the guests and how they occasionally suggested you rewatch this skit or that from SNL, which I did stop and do. They made me laugh all over again. I liked the live audience read of the last chapter.
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked hearing the shennanigans that went on at SNL
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed of course. Only a tiny bit about her travel to Haiti made me cry.
Any additional comments?
I wish there was more content on her time on Parks and Rec.

Historia
Toddlers are pretty amazing and so delightful (some of the time). A developmental understanding of why toddlers have difficulty getting to sleep and sleeping through the night will definitely help you and make your toddler even more adorable (maybe tolerable is a better word.) Parenting Guide to Toddler Sleeping will make your life easier. With wit and understanding, based on his years of treating children, child psychiatrist Calvin Colarusso M.D., clearly describes the developmental issues that explain why toddlers are not the best sleepers in the world.

So-so: A taste of some issues
Revisado: 03-28-14
What did you like best about Parenting Guide to Toddler Sleeping? What did you like least?
I liked that the book just kind of confirmed how common night waking and bed time issues are for toddlers. It listed some issues.. but they were basic and didnt really tell you how to resolve them. Also, I'm not sure I agree with the recommendation that breastfeeding past 1 and co-sleeping are an issue. I didnt co-sleep but I think the issues couldve been just as successfully addressed without that bit. It was ok
How could the performance have been better?
It was a little robotic
