It was okay

Loved the narrator. Story was slow. Did not like the ending! I remember loving Judy Blume as a child but this one wasn’t it.

Not my favorite Moriarty book
Revisado: 09-30-19
It’s a decent story but it’s not as good as her other books. I listened to it as I walked my dogs. Was easy for me to stop listening when the walks were over, not usually typical for me with her books. I kinda felt the ending was off and somewhat rushed. All in all it’s a fine read just don’t expect fireworks in the end!

Captures your attention!!
Revisado: 10-23-15
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I really liked the story line and would recommend this book HOWEVER I did not enjoy all the F-bombs & GD's!
What was most disappointing about Gillian Flynn’s story?
The ending is awful! Why oh why end it like that??
What does Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Very good narrations!
Was Gone Girl worth the listening time?
Yes and no. It is a good mystery, start to end keeps grabbing you back in. Once I start a book it is hard for me to just stop. HOWEVER I found myself cringing during the first hour with all the foul language, esp the lords name being danmed over and over again. It was not needed and added nothing to the story line. I will never listen or read another one of her books again because of it. There really should be a disclaimer on this book for it's foul language.
Any additional comments?
If you are not opposed to lots of F-bombs, the B word used over and over and Gillian continually saying G@D D@MN then go ahead and listen to this book. It is a good story line but the lanuage in this book is repulsive! I am not a prude, just don't enjoy such rough lanuage being spoken in the ear that many times in one book!
