A hilarious comedy “relationship” book everyone can enjoy

I have been married for 14+ years but I got this book since I enjoy Murph and Emily’s other comedy shows. This book is a great laugh and I would recommend for anyone who has dated or been married in the modern age.
It is NOT a true self help book, if you didn’t guess that from the title. But who knows maybe you could get some good advice if you could stop laughing long enough to breathe.

I was very excited to see the rest of this series out on Audible. This book is both funny, entertaining with mild social commentary (Slavery, and Accessibility). I love how Si Clarke explains delicate and complex issues in an easy way, brining you on the characters epiphany moment. How to explain accessibility to someone? Use a robot with wheels! The poor robot person gets stuck in a ditch or can only travel on a paved road. Lem starts to understand how frustrating it is for Henry to not be able to participate “off road”, how vulnerable Henry is when stuck or unable to get out of a room. One set of stairs can mean a whole group of people can’t participate. Also thank you to the author for putting your books on audible! As a person with vision issues I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy this book without the audio version!

My only complaint is the audiobook has the book broken up into Chapters but the chapter labels do not line up with the chapters in the book. It would be great if they would rename the chapters with the short story name and chapters within the short story

As a big Murray Leinster fan I’m so glad they made a audiobook version of all his Med Ship Man stories. While some of the future technology described in the book is already obsolete they are a great read. Most of these stories were written in the 1960s and the author passed away in 1975.

I love these novellas from the otherworld. The narrators really could have used a pronunciation guide for names before recording. I have noticed this a few other times in other Audiobooks from this company. In the original 13 novels Elena’s name is pronounced “E-lane-ah”
and in this book was pronounced “Ellen-ah” might seem like a small thing but it makes a difference when listening and not seeing the name on the paper. Overall great book!
