That has to be a good sign, right? The first time I saw him, he was hunched down in my bushes, aiming a rifle at my heart, and he's turned up with a new weapon every night since. As fun as our silly little game of Murder Daddy may be, I’m getting tired of having to steal my stalker-slash-boyfriend’s affection by disarming him and using his weapons against him.

A must listen

I read the book when it came out , but listening to the audio is another level. I enjoyed it as much as the first time, even more.
The narrator is new to me, but it has been a discovery, the narration takes you into the story. He interprets the characters very well, especially Scotty. He gives the special point that the character needs.
It is a must listen for all fans of the author and for newcomers who want to hear a romance between the two characters that will make you spend a few hours of fun, becoming your bubble of happiness..
Hopefully we will have the rest of the books in the series on audiobook narrated by the same narrator.

A great book of romance and intrigue

It is the second book in the series. Raven and Miguel continue their private investigator business and their romance. A new client appears and commissions them to search for a lost ruby. An acquaintance from Miguel's past appears, complicating the case.
I really liked the narrator, Michael Dean. He knows how to put emotions into the story and the characters . The scenes and dialogues written by the author take on a new dimension with his voice and makes the listener feel the emotions of the characters.

Emotional and passionate romance

Both the narrative and the story are excellent. The narrator does a wonderful job and takes Pierce and James out of the book and narrates the story with a lot of feeling. The characters are differentiated very well, because the narrator uses a different tone and voice for each character.
The narration is moving at the most emotional moments.
I highly recommend it.
