Only, she's never seen this photo before and something about its grin scares her. How its eyes seem to follow her no matter where she finds herself in the room.

Beautifully written and entirely immersive.

Intriguing and intense. The construct of this story is unlike any I’ve ever read, and its uniqueness in subject matches the elegance in the way the brutality is described. Mona Kabbani is one of one and I will definitely be back for more.
