Historia
In this characteristically turbocharged new book, celebrated Rolling Stone journalist Matt Taibbi provides an insider's guide to the variety of ways today's mainstream media tells us lies. In the internet age, the press have mastered the art of monetizing anger, paranoia, and distrust. Taibbi, who has spent much of his career covering elections in which this kind of manipulative activity is most egregious, provides a rich taxonomic survey of American political journalism's dirty tricks.

I want my money back for this propaganda
Revisado: 09-03-22
Tried to overlook the repeated Orange Man Bad Syndrome, but the author might as well replace Brian Stelter at Marxist Propaganda for Leftist Radicals. Progressivism is a euphemism for the new Radical Left and the author is a mouthbreather for their hypocrisy and hit pieces.

Historia
The history of the last half century in America, Europe, and other major economies is in large part the story of wealth flowing upward. Drawing on decades of experience covering the global economy, award-winning journalist Peter S. Goodman profiles five representative “Davos Men”—members of the billionaire class—chronicling how their shocking exploitation of the global pandemic has hastened a fifty-year trend of wealth centralization.

Better title is: Trump Derangement Syndrome
Revisado: 04-23-22
At first the book was factual, then suddenly after getting into the WEF the author claims Trump was in bed with the Globalists when he is on video saying exactly the opposite. Tried to listen past that conflicting BS but he kept going on more rants about "orange man bad" style CNN drama. No idea how I was conned into paying for this book as it is closer to false advertising than a factual account about Davos and Globalist corruption. Wish I could get a refund.

Historia
July 30, 1945 - The USS Indianapolis and its 1,196-man crew is making its way toward a small island in the South Pacific. The ship is sailing unescorted, assured by headquarters the waters are safe. It is midnight, and Marine Edgar Harrell and several others have sacked out on deck rather than spend the night in their hot and muggy quarters below. Fresh off a top-secret mission to deliver uranium for the atomic bombs that would ultimately end World War II, they are unaware their ship is being watched.

Great account of a terrible tragedy
Revisado: 07-13-21
Narrated well, allowing the story to be told with great conviction, and glad to hear that Edgar Harrell called out the disservice the JAG officer dragged the Captain thru after being rescued. It was an atrocity what the Navy did very poorly on, yet escaped any and all accountability by trying to publicly shame and prosecute the Captain, while not being accountable. It is by the grace of God that the war was ended and this entire story evolved by the thread of a thread, and by the skin of their teeth to accomplish their mission and then survive inhumane conditions and horrors.

Historia
Yuri Bezmenov was among the first Soviet whistleblowers to attract attention on a global scale, and interest in his story has recently been revived thanks to his surprising cameo in the teaser trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War in August 2020. This came despite the fact he was far from the first ex-KGB agent or Russian to pull back the curtains on the Russian government and reveal the harrowing “truths” they were once sworn to harbor.

Everything Yuri said would happen, has happened and is happening. Even the last sentence is exactly the words used by Leftists and eluded to by politicians claiming all people who supported Donald J Trump should be rounded up and put into Re-education Camps, and those who couldn't be "reformed" should get the "firing squad" and should round up families to prevent their disease from spreading.

Historia
Known for his network of conservative websites that draws millions of readers everyday, Andrew Breitbart has one main goal: to make sure the "liberally biased" major news outlets in this country cover all aspects of a story fairly. Breitbart is convinced that too many national stories are slanted by the news media in an unfair way. In Righteous Indignation, Breitbart talks about the key issues that Americans face, how he has aligned himself with the Tea Party, and how one needs to deal with the liberal news world head on.

Great to hear of his awakening from Leftist ideals
Revisado: 03-26-21
Great story of an awkward upbringing from a leftist Hollywood upbringing, never knew his story but it's good to hear about his intense and intelligent research findings and still in 2021 it is even more true than he ever knew. It should be required reading in schools to recover this nation's government and political circus. Socialism is communism, read about it for yourself. I already know a lot of his references and findings are what I found in researching the facts and ideologies of Marxism and he goes much further with the crooked Saul Alinsky who is apparently the biggest reason for why universities are so leftist and against America.

Historia
George Orwell depicts a gray, totalitarian world dominated by Big Brother and its vast network of agents, including the Thought Police - a world in which news is manufactured according to the authorities' will and people live tepid lives by rote. Winston Smith, a hero with no heroic qualities, longs only for truth and decency. But living in a social system in which privacy does not exist and where those with unorthodox ideas are brainwashed or put to death, he knows there is no hope for him.

Ironically and eerily exacting of modern day
Revisado: 03-02-21
Accurate political assessment of today in 2021! Many of the facts and details described can be assimilated by modern day politicians and the ridiculous social "movements" departing from common sense and entering into the asinine. Didn't get into the book for a few portions of the book until it started reflecting literal modern day political stunts like Cancel Culture, deleting history, destroying statues, changing street names, buying out conservative books to prevent their distribution, and Marxist/Leninist style ratting out your neighbor or family member for "thought crimes". Never has the word Orwellian made more of an impact on statements reflecting today's socialist tendencies.

Thousands of soldiers die every year to defend their country. United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills was sure that he would become another statistic when, during his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, he was caught in an IED blast four days before his 25th birthday. Against the odds, he lived, but at a severe cost - Travis became one of only five soldiers from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to survive a quadruple amputation.

Badass American Soldier who I'm proud to support
Revisado: 05-15-20
Sgt Travis Mills is the epitome of the great American Soldier spirit and warrior. He is honest and humble, and it was great to listen directly from him on the narration. He is not a story teller, he is a battle hardened badass who defended his squad like the best of the best. Taking the fall when things didn't go as planned (plans don't include reality when reality changes) to protect his squad members and building them up rather than keeping them down. He understands the fact that a good leader is not a given title, it is earned. He has more than earned that title, and his family has been right there by his side. The ultimate American family squad!

Revisado: 08-29-19
Great content and hilarious sarcasm. Only issue I had with it was the narrator was very robotic sounding, so the sarcasm wasn't delivered with the same hilarity. Still worth listening to, I just wish the same narrator from the first book 400 things cops know did this one, too.

Liked everything but had issues with the narrator being entirely unfamiliar with the terminology for firearms and bullet calibers. I'm surprised it was released with the pronunciations used.
