Enjoyed this very much. Nick Roberts can write some spooky stuff.
I still like Exorcist's House better though.

Great book! Very spooky and the narrator does an amazing job.
I think Nevill is one of greatest writers of his time. Many of his stories, including this one, make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
I'm also glad I listened to the audio book, it was even better listening to the scary scenes.

Way Overhyped
Revisado: 08-12-23
The story is good, but the middle just drags on for too long. I get the idea behind the main character, but I was super frustrated by her. The other 3 acted so stupid about everything.
This was overhyped and disappointing as a creature feature. Psychological thriller, definitely.
It was still good, but cut 2 hours out of the middle.

Love Brian Keene
Revisado: 08-04-23
My favorite thing about Keene is that his stories tie together, but each book can stand on its own. I liked this fast paced, no explanation, no apology type of story. Although the animal parts were heartbreaking.
Chet Williamson is great as narrator, as always.

Scared me!
Revisado: 03-02-23
This book is great! Also, the narrator does a great job. especially with the scariest parts. Don't let the low reviews turn you away.
There's only one part of the book that didn't feel finished for me and it's about one the best characters. Otherwise one of my top 5 books this year.

I don't get the negative reviews on this book. I thought it was great and pretty scary. Trying not to give spoilers, but the descriptions of the sleepwalking scenes were well done. I could picture everything while listening, which makes it even scarier.
