Historia
What if the advice you’re told on how to live your life is outdated and will only make you miserable? “Go to school, get good grades, so you can get a good job, so you can attract a ‘quality’ woman, so you can marry her and have kids.” Despite the evidence it doesn’t work, it still gets pushed as the ideal to strive for. It’s time to reinvent what is the ideal life for a male.

the only regret I have about this body of work is that I did not have it some 20 to 30 years ago! Mr copeland, keep doing what you're doing, the revolution will not be televised!

Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

finally listening to Candace in her own words
Revisado: 01-11-25
as an independent, I was always intrigued hearing the opinions and voices of a female black conservative. Candice Owens work here has challenged me to sit back, listen objectively, and once again we enforce my personal belief that even though we may have a few differences when it comes to our personal convictions, if we sit back and listen to one another, we find that we have many things in common. great work to you Miss Owens for this book, and I look forward to hearing more of what's on your mind.
