Should have read it instead of listening to it.

I've been having a hit or miss time of finding a good book to listen too. Most of my recent audio title purchases I should have saved my money. I think The Warden should have been one that I read instead of listened too. I understand that it takes time to build a character and the author wants to give insight on why a character chooses an action but I didnt feel like the narration of the past was "smooth". I was really hoping to like this series but I dont think I will finish it.
Just not for me.

Disappointed with 5 hours left to go

I had huge expectations for this but am greatly disappointed. I've listened to the Veronica Speedwell series by Deanna Raybourn and the narrator cadence reminds me of them but Encyclopaedia of Faeries misses the mark of creating a smooth story flow from the highly intelligent and scientific mind of M. If you are planning on listening to this on audio, hit the preview button first.

I think I would have enjoyed this if I had read it instead of using a credit on Audible. The story was okay, but I didn't feel the narrator fit the story.

This was not for me. The story jumped around too much and I can’t finish it even though I’ve been trying to stay interested. Do your research before purchasing.

Just cant finish it on audio

I have about 4 hours left and I just cant finish it even though i've been trying. I think if i purchased this on book format it would be easier but the story is just dragging. I liked Magical Market 1 but unfortunetly I have about 4 hours left, and I just can't finish it even though I've been trying. Just don’t care for the series so far

I wasn’t excited after listening to the first book but thought I would give the 2nd a try but I don’t think this series does anything for me. I really love his Cinder Spire books so I wanted to give this story line a try. I realize that book 2 is only the beginning of Harry’s story but he’s not a character that I wish to pursue.

This was a great series! I just loved everything about it and Travis Baldree.. I believe he just made the story better as he always does.

Fantastic start to a new series

Silver Linings, along with Travis Baldree, knocks this out of the park. Figuring out the main character backgrounds was a little confusing in the beginning, but it started to become clear throughout the story. I'm excited to listen to the next one.

I am so glad that I found this series. You are going to root for the character group to kick the bad guys butts. Mr. Baldree does not disappoint and I hope there will be many more to read or listen too.

Disappointed with change of Narrator

I have 54 minutes left of my audiobook and am struggling to finish it. I was very disappointed to discover a new narrator for the audiobook series. While I am sure Todd McLaren does a great job with other stories, this series should have continued using Travis Baldree. He made the stories come to life.
Please be aware that the narration has transformed this book into me not remembering what is happening. It's just tough to follow along and stay involved.
