I bought this book in the early nineties before audible was born with the hope of being a better salesman. I also wasn't very versed in the Bible as I am today. Now, that I also know Bible history the parallel storyline has come to life for me. I will admit I am a psychology book Junkie and I don't read fiction but this books parallelism with the Bible record makes it feel real. In the end I cried, not out of sadness, but because first I was led to re-read this book again with Audible and second I now understand what I should be learned 30 years ago.

This book has become one of my top business books. Unlike textbook teaching the author teaches via fictitious (and often humorous) stories aka case studies the important lessons of running a corporation. Highly recommended if you enjoy learning through case studies.

The narrator was one of the best I've heard in a audio book and was able to characterize multiple characters using different accents. This helped me visualize the subplots of which their were a few which kept the book entertaining like a movie. The author was able to illistrate one theory of end times quite well - pretrib rapture. Not being a pretrib theorist I liked this book nonetheless .

This book lays out in detail the fallacies of origin science that is being taught in school systems around the world. It reveals the history of the evolution theory that everything ebokved from a single cell organism or big bang theory and why these theories are not true and are really based on poor science and theory derived from atheistic world views. This book will help Christians understand and explain creation science and should strengthen ones faith in the Bible being the innerant unfalable Word of God.

this book as many have said before is as close to the Bible as any book outside of the Bible and written in a allegorical Style that truly represents the condition of all manners of people that one would come across or become through life. the Pilgrim's Progress and his journey teaches us how to be aware of the trappings and difficulties and temptations of life. this book which is a very long read is worth every minute and I've shared it with my young children who seemed to be fascinated by the characters which allows good healthy discussion with my children about the different types of people we are to be faced with in life. the Pilgrim's Progress should be required reading in every school in my opinion not only for the advanced writing style and language but also for the Deep poetic sometimes metaphorical and allegorical context which proved fruitful when studied harder. the book which was a Dream by Paul Bunyan teaches the gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ and there is a character for everyone in this book. the fun part of reading this book if a reader would allow is to try and identify with one or more of the characters in this book the author seems to me has identified almost every Persona type known to man of which there are both positives and negatives. this book is a good resource and in my opinion the next best alternative to the Holy Bible to try and illustrates the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ and if God allows will let a reader understand the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

this book confirms what I have always believed that spiritual growth comes in the form of persecution and that persecution is not something to be afraid of but embraced this book and this man's Journeys is a testament to that concept which is biblical.

Great Biblical Analysis of the Depravity of Man

This book clearly outlines and defines what sin is and gives a biblical case and argument that it is the duty of all believers to kill daily sin in their life for their own sake. this book really exhausts the definition and workings of sin and is a very helpful reminder that indwelling sin will never die and we will never be perfect in this lifetime. Therefore it is the duty of the believer to follow Romans
8:13 putting to death the deeds of the flesh.

This book was written if the 1600s and the language is very proper and articulate which is a good thing but could be challenging to some. However the content is packed with biblical observations and cross references. the author really has great hermeneutics in how he sets his "treatise" down.

A must read if you are battling sin or want to understand how indwelling sin affects a believer.
