Bøgerne er, hvad de er. Fantastiske. Jeg elsker disse historier på engelsk og dansk. Jeg synes, Jesper Christensen gør et godt stykke arbejde med at bringe karaktererne ud i livet. Jeg elsker hans stemme og den måde, han læser bøgerne på. Virkelig godt gået! Det er tredje eller fjerde gang gennem hele serien, fordi historien aldrig bliver gammel. :-)

Thought provoking!

How do you survive marriage through life’s ups and downs? The story covers all this and more. Cheryl will guide you through her personal turmoil so that you can find the way through your own struggles via prayer and guidance from God. No one’s life is perfect but through the grace of God, He will guide you on your own journey. Life and each day is what you make of it and your own attitude. I needed this message immensely. It’s a short but thought provoking read.

Loved the story despite the repetitiveness

I was worried getting this based on the reviews which said it was repetitive. I’m glad I forged ahead anyhow. It was a good story with likable characters. There is quite a bit of repetition and also a couple of places where the story and the characters’ emotions didn’t line up with what you had already been told and the outcome felt a bit unnatural but since it was a “paint by numbers” romance, the storyline was easy to figure out. The narrator was easy on the ears and did a great job. I like stories that don’t require a lot of thinking for my daily commute to work (so I can concentrate on traffic) and this was a great fit.

Det var virkelig godt at høre bogen på Dansk. En fantastisk historie ligemeget hvad sprog det høres på men den var godt læst af Jesper Christensen! Glæder mig til at høre den næste bog!

Nice Continuation of the Story

I’m glad I listened to this book despite some negative reviews. I will say I liked the first book better but this one was pretty good all in all. I was not a fan of Claire (Emma’s friend) and her tactics but at least it was all explained and tied up nicely by the end. I listen to stories like this when I want some brain candy. It’s a pretty typical romance storyline with a happy ending and that is exactly what I needed. It helps me escape from everything going on in the world at the moment and enjoy something light and happy. I’m trying out Audible Escape currently so it was free but I’d have been just as happy to use a credit on it.
