The story continues the amazing rollercoaster saga of Jim, however I greatly enjoyed Jonathan's comeuppance. Challenging an author to create something is usually a losing bet. That was one of my favorite parts of the book.

I enjoyed the story

It took a bit for the politics to unroll, and the pacing was great. I loved the humor, but there is much to be desired with sound volume consistency. Half the time I'm not sure if my headphones were breaking down or the editor was scrambling from the b roll to make a coherent sum total of all the takes.

I am personally frustrated and flustered because of the last two sentences of this book; and I know that any spleen I could vent would in no way encompass the love that I have for the story of these worlds. (Don't start a sentence with a preposition be damned.) If I was going to give any advice, bring a towel.

The danger felt insulated in a way at the start of the book because the hero always swoops in to save the day. Until..... It was masterfully done and I am going to start the sequel soon, but damn that was rough. ggz

If you have gotten this far in the series, you know that you should expect curve balls and gut wrenching turns. I cried listening to this book. I really like it and I think that it's the best one since Tears of Liscor. The last 2 minutes set up quite a precedence. Enjoy!
