Repetitive but compelling
Revisado: 02-13-24
Great follow up to the other stories. There’s quite a bit more horror/suspense in this one. It was downright annoying to hear about all the times characters were nauseous or vomiting. It is such a weird consistency across the books and an editor should have worked on this. Also- sometimes characters eyes are blue and the next violet. The story is fun but I’m losing interest with some hours to go in the book

Historia
In the ancient kingdom of Dumnonia, there is old magic to be found in the whisper of the wind, the roots of the trees, the curl of the grass. King Cador knew this once, but now the land has turned from him, calling instead to his three children. Riva can cure others, but can’t seem to heal her own deep scars. Keyne battles to be accepted for who he truly is—the king’s son. And Sinne dreams of seeing the world, of finding adventure.

Great but ending is a let down
Revisado: 04-05-22
Things were getting so good! But around chapter 40 it got weird. Super gender inclusive bad assery and trans characters treated with respect and were cool. Would love to see this as a movie or series,

Captivating
Revisado: 07-16-19
A captivating jaunt in the NC swamp lands. Young love, prejudice and the power of being yourself. once i got the hang of the time shift (flash backs and "present" in the 1960s and older) i couldn't stop listening.
