The SCP Foundation was built to keep humanity safe from a world of beings it doesn’t want to know exists. Things of wonder. Things of destruction. And these things have files. A LOT of files. These folks do an excellent job at bringing the SCP Universe to life. Their dramatizations are great. You do NOT recognize the bodies in the water.

Historia
Of the billions of greenskins who swarm the galaxy, the name of one strikes fear into the hearts of human and xenos alike—Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka. The Warlord of Warlords. The Beast of Armageddon. The Prophet of the Waaagh! With his tusks, fists and power claw, he does the holy work of Gork and Mork—and soon all worlds will burn in his bootprints. Mystery shrouds the origins of such a beast. Rumours abound that the mighty warlord was once just like any other ork—but if that is the case, how did he rise from a lowly lad to the biggest of bosses?

Historia
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

It’s nearly unabridged, but at what cost,
Revisado: 07-08-23
The edition of the audiobook available on audible is a strange mishmash of Simon Vance narration awkwardly stitched together in piecemeal fashion, with an audio drama. The result is a jarring mess.
Months of work would be required to properly create and edit that kind of audio project, so it’s clear that Macmillan audio hired out the cheapest contractor available to do a really mediocre job of compiling the various sound clips made available to them. My advice is to look elsewhere for older versions of the audiobook or just get the paper.

Historia
Death comes to us all. When he came to Mort, he offered him a job. Death is the Grim Reaper of the Discworld, a black-robed skeleton with a scythe who ushers souls into the next world. He is also fond of cats and endlessly baffled by humanity. Soon Death is yearning to experience what humanity really has to offer, but to do that, he'll need to hire some help. It's an offer Mort can't refuse. As Death's apprentice he'll have free board, use of the company horse—and being dead isn't compulsory. It's a dream job—until Mort falls in love with Death's daughter, Ysabell.

Death does not shy away from pain. Death fears nothing. In fact, he's terrified of it.
