The story, the tension, the banter, the mystery, AND well rounded characters?! This was so good and topped off with killer narration. The perfect amount of emotional inflection and great pacing. Fantastic!

fantastic small town romance!

This was such a fun listen, I loved being back in the Elsie-verse with her strong FMC Skyler and signature loving, fierce, and foul mouthed (in the best way) MMC West. This was another killer Elsie single dad romance and I loved the twist to it of Skyler seeking refuge from fame in Rose Hill.

The narrators were perfectly cast, paced well, and the integration of the song performances flowed so smoothly making it a fantastic audiobook.

If you like small-town rom coms, single dads, and audio adaptions this one is what you need!

Celebrity chef + fan spicy holiday fun

Overall this was cute. Good performance from the narrators and entertaining story, but a bit cheesy and cringy with the insta lust. But, a fun and fluffy holiday novella.

I love everything about this one! The cast, the story, the couples, all of it brought to life by fantastic narrators. I was laughing and blushing the whole time. Love Cece and Nash on audio!

Fantastic romantic suspense!

Wow! Incredible and interesting characters, fantastic side cast, twists, with absolutely perfect narration? This was a winner all around. I loved Anson and Rhode’s story and the hilarious side cast in Sparrow Falls. The narrators were absolute perfection in bringing this story to life. Love!

sweet accidental pregnancy cowboy romance!

I really loved Jax and Sasha’s story! It was a sweet cowboy romance with a Sasha is a strong and determined black cat type and Jax a cozy, loving, and gentle MMC. This was an accidental pregnancy done really well and overall a fantastic listen. Solid story made even better by top notch narration.

perfect match of narration and story!

This was a fantastic series opener with narration that was well paced and matched. Zachary and Vanessa brought the characters to life with beautiful and humorous inflection that really brought so much depth to Elsie's already wonderful characters. I loved that we got breadcrumbs of Ford in Hopeless and it was so fun to kind of see the passing of the torch here. There was the perfect amount of Ford in Chestnut Springs and then the right amount of Chestnut Springs in Rose Hill with Willa's sass and personality put in the form of the loving and protective sister. Elsie did a wonderful job bringing this beautiful mountain town to life and it's easy to see why Ford wants to build his life here.

Ford and Rosie are well fleshed out characters and we get to know them together, apart, and as a group with West which I loved. The single dad twist was fun and different, definitely didn't see that coming!

Once again Elsie does a phenomenal job crafting tension and intimacy that is just set ablaze when the slow burn hits and I will never look at paint or a pen the same again.

I can't wait to get back to Rose Hill, bowling, and nights by the campfire with West ASAP!

Sweet college romance with killer narration!

This was the perfect audiobook. Cute, low angst, humorous with a nice dose of some spicy tension. The narration was absolutely perfect and brought the story to life with their tone, emotions, and perfect pacing.

Incredible story + narration!

It's hard to describe this amazing story. It is heartbreaking and gruesome but also beautiful and deeply important. Kristin Hannah has an incredible way of bringing these difficult stories to life and crafting them in a manner that makes it easy to take in and process. She captured Frankie's experience both at home and in Vietnam in a way that I truly felt like I was alongside her in this journey. Separately, yet not, Julia Whelan brought this story to life with incredible emotion and depth. Her pacing, inflection, and variation between the cast members was one of the best audio book performances I've had. I think I will have her saying "I need help," echoing in my brain for years to come. Thank you, Kristin, for this stunning story and to Julia for the perfect performance to give Frankie and her friends a voice.

Mysterious and unique debut!

This was a really fun debut that took a unique spin the brother’s best friend with an added true crime layer. The narrators did a great job keeping the flow of the story making at a decent rate while keeping their pace fairly even between the two of them. The female narrator did a great job of drawing out the withdrawn and hesitant tones in Birdie’s voice while the male narrator brought a gruff masculinity to Lonan. Someone’s Lonan’s voice was grating, like he was trying to sound extra tough and masculine but at the same time it worked because he is definitely a dudes dude/reformed playboy so it worked.
