Historia
Nothing ever happens in the little village of Pittsburg—that is, until it does. For 14-year-old Joe Anderson, that was the case during the summer of 1992. The events that unfolded following a childhood game of hide and go seek in the woods changed the face of a small town and left a mark that was forever etched into the recesses of a boy's heart and mind.

Thrilling and captivating
Revisado: 03-01-23
I'll admit, this is not my usual genre, but the author did an excellent job of taking me back to my youth with this coming of age story. I didn't think I would've enjoyed it since it was not my usual line up, but I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it.

Historia
In the months before World War II, FDR prepared the country for conflict with Germany and Japan by reshuffling various government agencies to create the Office of Strategic Services - America's first intelligence agency and the direct precursor to the CIA. When he charged William ("Wild Bill") Donovan, a successful Wall Street lawyer and Wilkie Republican, to head up the office, the die was set for some of the most fantastic and fascinating operations the US government has ever conducted.

A book on political science of WWII
Revisado: 07-13-21
This book is more about the political atmosphere of WW2, and where the individuals of the OSS stood in that atmosphere, than what the OSS actually accomplished.
