Historia
The story of the Boston Massacre - when on a late winter evening in 1770, British soldiers shot five local men to death - is familiar to generations. But from the very beginning, many accounts have obscured a fascinating truth: the Massacre arose from conflicts that were as personal as they were political.

More massacre less family
Revisado: 12-25-21
This book really focuses on the British point of view and does little to contrast the civilians like crispus attucks, the title was misleading but it was a great historical analysis of the trials of the British soldiers, draws parallels to soldiers of modern times and the sacrifice to be separated from family.
I recommend this title

Historia
This explosive new audiobook challenges many of the long-held assumptions about blacks, about Jews, about Germans and Nazis, about slavery, and about education. Plainly written, powerfully reasoned, and backed with a startling array of documented facts, Black Rednecks and White Liberals takes on the trendy intellectuals of our times as well as historic interpreters of American life.

Essays that hit hard
Revisado: 12-18-21
Dr. Thomas Sowell describes the true roots to the issues faced in the black community and maintains history is the ticket to freedom, I must agree. This book is dense with information that is presented in an easy to read structure. Much to glean from this selection. A must read for anyone majoring in ethnic or cultural studies.

Historia
In 2009, Mark R. Levin galvanized conservatives with his unforgettable manifesto Liberty and Tyranny, by providing a philosophical, historical, and practical framework for halting the liberal assault on Constitution-based values. That book was about standing at the precipice of progressivism’s threat to our freedom, and now, over a decade later, we’re fully over that precipice and paying the price. In American Marxism, Levin explains how the core elements of Marxist ideology are now pervasive in American society and culture.

Historia
Hamlet, Shakespeare's most popular, and perhaps most puzzling play, follows the form of a "revenge tragedy", in which the hero, Hamlet, seeks vengeance against his father’s murderer, his uncle Claudius, now the king of Denmark. Much of its fascination, however, lies in its uncertainties. This new full-cast recording - based on the most respected edition of Shakespeare's classic - expertly produced by the Folger Theatre, is perfect for students, teachers, and the everyday listener.

I purchased this audio book to help understand the delivery of this script and I wasn’t disappointed. The ability to follow along and listen this play helps tie together the emotions to the syntax of the text leaving you wanting more.
