Jesus Was a Youth Leader by Matthew Arrowood completely changed the way I view youth ministry. The book presents a compelling argument that Jesus didn’t just tolerate young people—He chose them, discipled them, and entrusted them with the future of the church. Arrowood backs up his insights with Scripture, historical context, and practical application.

I walked away not only inspired but also challenged to re-think how we engage the next generation in ministry. This is a must-read for parents, pastors, and anyone working with youth. It’s fresh, thought-provoking, and deeply encouraging. Highly recommend!

This book is unbelievable! Every Christian needs to take time to read it. There’s so much more to the word than just reading it. If we pray the word the power of the word will consume our lives! Phenomenal job Riley!

A Neglect of Truth

This is an incredibly written book. It’s very well put together and excellently organized. However, an extreme neglect of truth occurs in this book that cannot go unnoticed.

Several factors include; neglect of Old Testament, complete dodging of the issue of abortion, and the neglect to communicate the mission of war on the spirit world.

The Old Testament has not been done away with. The 10 commandments still apply, the Shamma still applies, and Jesus only emphasized this.

The lives of unborn babies are worth fighting for and taking a stand for. If we alienate people on this subject, that’s sad, but their lives are more important.

Jesus stood up for what is right. He offended, he made people angry with his inflammatory words, we must stand as he did.

Pastor Stanley is sadly mistaken and it’s his same blasé attitude that contributed to the slaughter of millions in Germany when the church their refused to take a stand.

Read Eric Metaxas’s book, “Letter to the American Church”.

This book did such a wonderful job framing a time in England that was very difficult for the young and the poor. It’s incredible how it brings the time to life. I absolutely loved this book and I recommend it for all ages.
