In her telling he comes across as more simple but with a set of skills learned during life as a young businessman which he attempted to continue to use during his Presidency, with decidedly mixed results.

20th Century Man of Mathematics and Philosophy

Godel was a German mathematician and philosopher who was educated in Vienna in the 1920s. He wrote books and gave lectures on theories regarding logic, mathematics, and later, philosophy, expanding on the ideas of Plato. He was a contemporary and good friends with Einstein. Near the end of his life he wrote a proof for the existence of God.

This is a detailed analysis of the collapse of interdependent Bronze Age civilizations in the Middle East near the 12th century BCE. At times the author bogged the reader down in endless details about rulers, archaeological digs, and descriptions which seemed to go nowhere. I found it difficult to hang in there but at the end the author tied all the elements together and explained how civilizations can collapse due to multiple factors.
