I’ve been introducing my children to important authors that they would not naturally be attracted to like Jack, London, and now Edgar Allan Poe. When I saw that this book was only The Tell-Tale Heart I was disappointed at first, and I wondered how well a female narrator would capture the essence of the story. In fact, the narrator was phenomenal. My children and I were drawn into her narration, and this psychological portrait came to lifemore than I could’ve imagined. I’m tempted to search out other books. She’s narrated because of the quality of this work.

I love these books they made me love classic fairy tales, and they’re so imaginative. “Once upon a time these are some of the most magical words our world has ever known.”- Mrs. Peters, and I must agree with her. The books in this series and all the classic fairy tales are also magical.

Raw, beautiful, comforting

This is an insight look at these women. It brings a perspective of the human struggle when we are misunderstood, unloved, suffer loss, etc. and how God who sees, hears, loves, chooses, and comforts such people. As I listen to each story I am reminded of the beauty of our God’s ways and how he meets each woman where they are at.

This audiobook makes constant reference to resources available in section three of the book. Unfortunately, the resources are not provided. The value of the book is significantly diminished for lack of these resources.
You can go to their website and sign up, but then you get less than half of the resources.
I’m posting this so that I don’t have to spend another $10 to buy the kindle version.
