Beautiful book for spiritual transfromation

Loved the narration by the author -it was such a personal and touching journey for me listening to this book. As a Muslim I had already heard most of the ancedotes in this book and was familiar with the subject matterbut it provided me with a much deeper sense of appreciation for the religion. The connections it made to numerous other faiths and cultures were beautiful and insightful. I have forever been changed by this book.

Such beautiful narration! I was hooked till the very end. Abi Dare is an incredible storyteller - her debut is heartbreaking but beautifully penned. I'm so happy she's unapologetic about the use of language + it made all the difference and made Adunni feel so real. one of the best listens, if not the best - the combination of the writing and the narration just did it for me.

I wrote to my book club ladies to tell them about this story before I finished listening to it....it was that good. I smiled, I got emotional, I followed Nima on her journey through her mind and her worlds... such an incredible piece of work. I'm in love.

Loved this book, provides a different perspective on the practice of Islam. The narration was beautifully done. Would recommend to Muslim & non -Muslim alike. I look forward to reading more from this author. May Allah continue to bless him.
