The prize of the worst narrator of the year

The writing was ok , but Kristin Hannah wrote better books . Some stuff was unrealistic and some details and characters were ruined completely by the poor narration .

Historia
Letting Go describes a simple and effective means by which to let go of the obstacles to enlightenment and become free of negativity. During the many decades of the author's clinical psychiatric practice, the primary aim was to seek the most effective ways to relieve human suffering in all of its many forms. The inner mechanism of surrender was found to be of great practical benefit and is described in this book.

Lack true clear guidance
Revisado: 11-17-24
The book is very theoretical, it lacks the reality about trauma, anxiety . It is basically highlights the benefits of letting go and how beneficial it is for the person who can do so . But the book lack any clear guidance on how to get to do so. I start to think some of the 5 stars reviews are fake .

This wise, stirring book argues that the search for meaning can immeasurably deepen our lives and is far more fulfilling than the pursuit of personal happiness. There is a myth in our culture that the search for meaning is some esoteric pursuit - that you have to travel to a distant monastery or page through dusty volumes to figure out life's great secret. The truth is, there are untapped sources of meaning all around us - right here, right now.

Historia
Rumi's inspiring and deceptively simple poems have been called ecstatic, mystical, and devotional. To writer and activist Melody Moezzi, they became a lifeline. In The Rumi Prescription, we follow her path of discovery as she translates Rumi's works for herself - to gain wisdom and insight in the face of a creative and spiritual roadblock. With the help of her father, who is a lifelong fan of Rumi's poetry, she immerses herself in this rich body of work, and discovers a 13th-century prescription for modern life.

A triad river of ancient and modern wisdom !!!
Revisado: 02-21-21
No matter what is your background, religion, color or ethnicity, if you are feeling down and your souls is craving some light ,this book will kindle your way. Today was the first time that I wondered why their is only 5 stars to review a book. The Rumi prescription deserves ten stars. Outstanding selfless memoir that poured the wisdom of three generations in one book. Not only it hand selected beautiful verses for Rumi , but also the way the author’s dad Ahmad interpreted these versus to her and how Melody applied it to her life, created a triad river of wisdom .
In my opinion the author’s choice to use Persian words through the book adds allot of value to its message.
It amazed me how brave and generous Melody is to discuss the most intimate details of her mental struggle in order to help others get better. Because of this book I’m in a serene calmer emotionally right now . I loved the book so much that I ordered the hard copy to keep as a reference.
The narrator performance was outstanding as well.

Historia
The Code of the Extraordinary Mind is a blueprint of laws to break us free from the shackles of ordinary life. It makes a case that everything we know about the world is mostly decided not by rational choice but instead by conditioning and habit. And thus most people live their lives based on limiting rules and outdated beliefs about pretty much everything - love, work, money, parenting, sex, health, and more - that they inherit and pass on from generation to generation.

Disappointing
Revisado: 08-19-20
I was really disappointed by this book. The 6hrs listening could’ve been 3hrs if the author doesn’t like to hear him self talking. Why this book doesn’t deserve 5 stars? Self centered, name dropping and the disgusting amount the author repeated the phrase “ unfuckweathable” . I didn’t see any PDF attached. Also, the author speaks about religions in a way that makes you think he actually read all the holy books on earth. Don’t waste your time and look for other self improvement options . PS. With all the money he brags about making in this book, he should’ve hired a narrator. His performance really added to the negativity.

The book was very good it remind me of The glass Castle and Educated. But would I say it actually provided much more enlightenment on Donald Trump’s personality ? I would say not that much. I feel the book was more focused on the unfairness toward The author father . Overall very good read.
