Historia
Before Lucas Davenport and the brilliant Prey novels, there was Kidd (artist, computer whiz, and professional criminal) and his sometimes partner/sometimes lover, LuEllen. The army left Kidd with a dislike for bureaucracy and the skills to do something about it, but it didn't prepare him for the day a woman would call and tell him his colleague Jack Morrison is dead.

Wasn't what I expected, very disappointed
Revisado: 10-06-14
What would have made The Devil's Code better?
I couldn't even make it throught the 4th chapter. I would not keep my attention.
Would you ever listen to anything by John Sandford again?
If its anything like this book, NO.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Frank Muller?
No
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Devil's Code?
Could listen to eonough to answer this question. The book was too boring.
Any additional comments?
Not my type of book, very disappointed.

Historia
Her name is Clara Rinker, a Southern woman, trim, pleasant, attractive, and the best hit woman in the business. She isn't showy; she just goes quietly about her business, collects her money, and goes home. It's when she's hired for a job in Minnesota that things become complicated for her. A defense attorney wants a rival eliminated, and that's fine. But then a witness survives, the attorney starts acting weird, this big cop Davenport gets on her case, and loose ends begin popping up faster than on an unraveling sweater

My Favorite
Revisado: 02-28-13
Where does Certain Prey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book so far has be my favorite out of the series. I never seen the ending coming and when I did, WOW what an ending.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot was very good. Everytime I thought I have it figured out it changed.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I have the time I would have listened to this one all at one time.
