Historia
1200 AD - In the time following the death of Richard the Lionheart and the ascension of his brother, John, to the throne of England, a plot against the new king is hatched from an unexpected place - deep within the bowels of The Lateran Palace in Rome. It is rumored that the Pope himself is behind it. It is a plot so dark, and so dastardly, that William Marshal needs men who specialize in dark and dirty games in order to save a king they all hate, yet a king that England desperately needs.

This adventure is one of my favorite.
Revisado: 03-13-20
So I really enjoyed this book written by Kathryn Le Veque, but there are few of her books that I do not enjoy.
this book had a lot of adventure, and suspense more so than romance. There was romance also, but the story had no slow spots.

I can not understand the narrator!
Revisado: 12-12-15
What disappointed you about The Thunder Knight?
I don't even understand what the heck is going on! The narrator is that bad.
Would you ever listen to anything by Kathryn Le Veque again?
Yes I love Kathryn Le Veque's books. I own over half of them.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
He mumbles, and does not fully pronounce words. It feel like I'm trying to listen to a guy who has stage fright, and so he isn't using the microphone the way it's suppose to be used.
What character would you cut from The Thunder Knight?
Im only on chapter 3, and I haven't heard enough to answer that question.
Any additional comments?
Please fix it. I think it's a problem with your recording equipment, because sometimes he sounds far away, and blurry.

Historia
Emperor Wray Vasteri was the ruler of the Tornian Empire. His house had ruled the empire ever since the great infection, which struck over 500 years ago, and he feared he would be the last. The number of compatible females was dwindling faster than anyone knew. If they could not find compatible females soon, their entire civilization would cease to exist. It was the reason he agreed to meet with Liron, the emperor in Kaliszian space.

Just love M K Eiden. She rooks!
Revisado: 09-20-15
If you could sum up Wray in three words, what would they be?
Fun Romantic Ride.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I love all of M K Edien's characters, not only from Wray, and Grim, but more of her books I have read.
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?
Probably Wray. The female voice belonged to Lisa from the book Grim.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not that I can think of off the top of my head, but I thought it was funny/cute how when Emily was teaching Wray to dance, and she told him that her dad rescued her mom from having her feet stepped on by another guy.
Any additional comments?
Yes: there are at least two more M K Ediem books out there, they need to be put on audible. M K Ediem's books are the best, and I think it's a shame that you do not have all of her published books.

awkward book for a romance
Revisado: 12-18-14
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The narrator was terrible! He made Charles sound like an old man, and the women voices sounded like my brothers when they mimic mocked girls.
Would you be willing to try another book from Danelle Harmon? Why or why not?
Maybe, although this story had a lot of potential it fell flat in awkward silences way too much.
The character Amy got anoying very quickly, and then the book continued to long to ware Charles even became anoying.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
This narrator is so terrible. Normally I deal with a narrator, and let them grow on me. But throughout the whole book I could not picture Charles as a younger man of late twenties, because he sounded like he was 85.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
This book did inspire a few tears which is saying A LOT. It was hard to take the stoy seriously when I was rolling my eyes about the intense irony of the voices, and how they didn't fit the mood or the setting.

Great series
Revisado: 04-18-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. Because the Author is one of my top favorite 3 in the world right now. Can we get the rest of this series?
Who was your favorite character and why?
The dark lord was definitely my favorite. I loved reading about him changing. This story is kind of an adult version of beauty and the beast.
Which character – as performed by Kiff VandenHeuvel – was your favorite?
Again the dark lord. Kiff VandenHeuvel did the dark lord's deep voice so well.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Entertainingly heart wrenching.
Any additional comments?

An adventure through the highlands
Revisado: 11-02-13
Would you listen to Highlander Taken again? Why?
Yes I would. It was intertaining, and it was the 2nd book to it's seris, which I didn't know when I first bought, and listened to this book.
What did you like best about this story?
The sexual tension, the fact there is a traidor among them. How as you listen you hear Stella grow, and become less frightened. This book is adveture, tention.... and romance, but it is much more then romane, but yes it does have graphic sex seens.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
I thought the narration was slow, also I didn't like how it was Stella telling her own story. I felt like she reused words, and phrases to much.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Just listening to Stella grow more couragous, and she was able to do so because of the freedom her husband gave to her.
Any additional comments?
All in all it was a great listen. One I will probably listen to again.

Revisado: 11-02-13
If you could sum up The Gift in three words, what would they be?
Well told story.
Would you be willing to try another book from Julie Garwood? Why or why not?
Yes I have read many of her books, incluing The Bride, Prince Charming, The Secret, just to name a few. I will of course continue to be a fan, but many of Garwoods Heros, and Heroines are very simylor. I have a hard time remembering what charators went with what book.
What does Susan Duerden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I love Susan Duerden especially for this author. Susan does man voices very well, and is perfect for an angry hero :)
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Beware the insane girl.... she may look normal.
Any additional comments?
Yes the heroine,........can anyone really be that dumb, and be alive? Come on Miss Garland, I think we need to do better research into survival of the fitest. Other then that it was a very enjoyable book.
