As a boy, Will Klein had a hero: his older brother, Ken. Then, on a warm suburban night in the Kleins’ affluent New Jersey neighborhood, a young woman—a girl Will had once loved—was found brutally murdered in her family’s basement. The prime suspect: Ken Klein. With the evidence against him overwhelming, Ken simply vanished. And when his shattered family never heard from Ken again, they were sure he was gone for good.

Too Graphic for Me
Revisado: 08-21-09
The pointless, graphic details in this book turned my stomach. I couldn't even listen to the first part of this book. The narrator is terrible, but so is the story. Waste of a credit in my opinion.

Tedious Torture
Revisado: 05-18-09
This book started out pretty good then turned into usless babble. Tedious details, pointless conversations, and tons of details that were unnecessary. I fast forwarded most of the second part, then gave up and didn't finish the book. I just didn't care anymore. I hope the doll killed every character in the end!

Historia
Mary DiNunzio is a trademark Lisa Scottoline heroine - she's strong, she's smart, and she's got plenty of attitude. In recent years, she's become a big-time business-getter at Rosato & Associates, but the last person she expects to walk into her office one morning - in mile-high stilettos - is super sexy Trish Gambone, her high school rival.

Revisado: 04-23-09
This book started out really interesting, and then took a turn. I listened to it all because I paid for it, but unfortunately the main character was annoying to me, she was such a doormat! But the reader was really, really good!

Historia
In the northern California town of Coventry, two teenage brothers go into the woods one day, but only one comes back. No one knows what happened to the younger brother, Josh, until 20 years later, when the older brother, Oren, now an ex-investigator for the Army CID, returns to Coventry for the first time in many years. His first morning back, he hears a thump on the front porch. Lying in front of the door is a human jawbone, the teeth still intact. And it is not the first such object, his father tells him.

1 Note Story
Revisado: 03-14-09
This story stayed on one note - never changed. I was waiting for the suspense or anything that changed the slow pace of this story. There were so many characters that in the early parts of the book I was confused by who was who. I liked the narrator, he was good at making different types of voices that were interesting. I figured out the ending really early on. All in all I found this story boring, but gave me something to listen to on my commute.

Entertaining but typical
Revisado: 10-02-08
This story is the equivalent of a Lifetime Orginal Movie for women. Suspense combined with a sappy love story and a weak ending. But it was entertaining! It kept me going through my commute. At first I didn't like the narrator, but she grew on me. So overall its a good story to pass time.

Who Cares?
Revisado: 08-25-08
After listening to the horribly graphic description of sexual abuse, images of inhumanity against others and not hearing a single redeeming feature of any character I decided this book was not worth finishing. The only thing that made me listen as far as I did, was the great voice of the narrator. In my opinion this book is not a good listen for a woman.

Good Short Story

I liked this story! Normally, I feel that Stephen King can be too "wordy". This was a good thriller. I enjoyed listening to it on my commute home.
