Historia
When the Lord tells us to "fear not", it doesn't mean we won't ever feel fear. It means, with God's help, we don't have to allow fear to stop us! We can keep moving forward...even if we have to "do it afraid". Are you ready to conquer your fears and leave insecurities behind? If so, this five-part series by Joyce, including special teachings from Ed Young and Lisa Bevere, will help you walk step by step into a bold, fulfilling new life.

I really enjoy Joyce Meyers in your face but also down to earth way of teaching. Everyday can be a struggle, but with help from Joyce Meyers teaching about the struggles in her own life and how she overcame them she lets you know you can do it to. And she makes me smile!

Historia
It's not as great as you'd think, living in a tourist town that's known as "the most magical place in America". Same boring high school, just twice as many monsters under the bridges and rival Families killing each other for power. I try to keep out of it. I've got my mom's bloodiron sword and my slightly illegal home in the basement of the municipal library. And a couple of Talents I try to keep quiet, including very light fingers and a way with a lock pick.

What did you like best about this story?
This is not a new take of the Elemental Assassin series, like I was afraid might happen. This book has a great story line and new cast of characters. I really enjoy the EA series, but was ready for something different, and Cold Burn of Magic delivered. Well worth my credit, the narration was also first rate. Thank you Jennifer Estep for a great start to a new series.

This is a wonderful listen. The story captures you from the beginning and keeps going. Well worth your credit. Violet is a character we can all relate too in one way or another and you want to see her survive. I wont give spoilers, but if you like intrigue and espionage mixed with fantasy. You will really like this book.

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

I had so much fun listening to this book. I laughed out loud and scared my co workers. The story encompasses you and your drawn into Jane's world. Vampires suddenly become believable and witty. You wont want the story to be over, so you will listen to it again.

Historia
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue - Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is - she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

This book took me by surprise. Before I knew it 11 hours had whipped by, and I was buying the next book. I wont give spoilers, but this audio is well worth your time and credit. It is well written and keeps you wanting to know more, it pulls you in and makes you feel like you are part of the characters lives. Thank You Veronica Roth for a great beginning to a wonderful series.

Historia
A highly decorated captain in the U.S. Army, Luis Montalvan never backed down from a challenge during his two tours of duty in Iraq. After returning home, however, the pressures of his physical wounds, traumatic brain injury, and post-traumatic stress disorder began to take their toll. In constant physical pain, he soon found himself unable to climb a simple flight of stairs or face a bus ride to the VA hospital. He drank; he argued; he cut himself off from those he loved. Then Luis met Tuesday, a beautiful and sensitive golden retriever....

What made the experience of listening to Until Tuesday the most enjoyable?
Knowing that it is true. This could be happening close to our home, so be patient with those who so quickly come into, then leave our lives.

Historia
Where others see puzzles, Esme Stuart sees patterns. These outside-the-box inductive skills made her one of the FBI's top field operatives. But she turned her back on all that eight years ago to start a family and live a normal life. She now has a husband, a daughter and a Long Island home to call her own, far removed from the bloody streets of Atlanta. But Galileo's murders escalate and her old boss needs the help of his former protege.

Great beginning, but too much left unanswered.
Revisado: 11-29-12
What did you love best about While Galileo Preys?
The beginning and the different story lines.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes, too the end.
What about Lauren Fortgang’s performance did you like?
You felt like she was the character.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The confusion and pain of her parents decisions.
Any additional comments?
The only character who knew what happened to her parents didn't spill the beans, so I left the book feeling irritated.

Historia
For over 20 years, Belasco House has stood empty. Regarded as the Mt. Everest of haunted houses, its shadowed walls have witnessed scenes of unimaginable horror and depravity. All previous attempts to probe its mysteries have ended in murder, suicide, or insanity.
But now, a new investigation has been launched, bringing four strangers to Belasco House in search of the ultimate secrets of life and death. A wealthy publisher, brooding over his impending death, has paid a physicist and two mediums to establish the facts of life after death once and for all. For one night, they will investigate the Belasco House and learn exactly why the townsfolk refer to it as the Hell House.

Awful!
Revisado: 05-07-12
Did Ray Porter do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Yes, you could seperate the characters just by listening.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Hell House?
The BATHROOM scene near the end of the book. It was completely overboard and really not needed at all.
Any additional comments?
If I could have given the book half a star I would have.
