You get two in this one to listen too. Zeb and Kade whom both will steal your heart but hey in the book world you can have more than one anyways. We hear how they find the one that rattles their cage as they say in the ole days. The narrator better than most but one of these days I guess I would like both voices separate voices when it comes to male and female.
Zeb back in Calder county once again. So you guessed it this also is a second chance gotta love em. Willa has more trouble that keeps coming at her with once he shows up the heat also starts rising up. Life happens in this with suspense that rises to the occasion but it does keep our attention to see if our man gets his day.
In the second listen Kade has his hands full with the agent sent to help him and the investigation. You could say the wind is knocked out for a minute when he sees her. Probably if you were too close sparks could be felt. They both have their own agenda but something else has them both. So you definitely get caught up in this tug of war.

characters bring it to life

This is the first time in coming across this author. The story is what tempted me to be drawn in. The characters will do more than their job in unraveling the story with the mystery and suspense that feeds my need. The personalities come shining through with you can almost picture them. Oh Rider team to the rescue which Aurora should thank her lucky stars haha. Romance is woven in with us lapping that up also. I liked how fun it was though to go through this one. One thing is established if I come across the next one will dive into it.

When I heard about this Gothic romance I was ecstatic. Read it and now I want to hear it. In my younger days read the Gothic romance as fast as I could but as time has gone writers have seem to gotten away from them, not so many. They are full of everything-ghosts,paranormal and of course romance. The atmosphere is different even, it has to be in the right setting like this one is in Oregon. There is a bed and breakfast run by Haylee which is good for him since something causes him to skid and into a tree. Oh can not forget the prologue either with another ingredient that is in the form of a gargoyle who is searching to break his curse and then there is the curse on Haylee's family. There is a good foundation also in this series dealing with stones that ties each and fits perfectly in the writing. I am already captivated plus now in deep eating up every word. He is there on a retreat you might say but she will find out what he really desires. Then too they will desire each other but there is the matter of searching for what will get loose and all kinds of mysterious things. She too is special with the history in her family she will have to believe she has it in her to do what needs to be done. Fighting evil is a big job but the joy was reading them doing it. This author has gone and done it she will give a fabulous conclusion to this one but also the lead to the next one, so with my love renewed on this type of novel it will be anticipation to say the least.

I have been trying audible in between reading with one of my favorite authors I am playing catch up also. I have to watch it though because sometimes my ears are smoking and I do not smoke. Just like this series Clay fits right in with oh yeah! factor. Then there is Rusty whom I was very intrigued with thanks to part I adore characters like her. They both had a battle ahead of them with us seeing who was going to not win. Also barreling in was danger and drama with my kind of attack against it that I like to read. I enjoyed greatly how this molds us the readers or listeners will wiggle in their seats.

you want that saddle

With this author I am always finding time in between to read one of her novels. I was recommended this one with no twisting needed to plunge right in. I find myself attached right away to the character Ana as she proceeds with very soon my mouth is left hanging open because of how she meets Chase. From then on I am intrigued so much so that I find I am flipping as fast as I can read. Magic be in these pages with also burning with hot desire that fuels the story between these two. Of course there is danger coming with it not being a "rose" garden. I was of course simply even more fascinated with Ana as the relationship with Chase develops. The family he has adds to this with it being colorful. By the time I reach the end of this one I am sad it is done already.

intriguing and colorful

This is the first time in encountering this author with the story drawing my interest. I do so love a ghost story with this having that in the story. Quinn will grab your attention with all the weirdness that keeps hitting at her left and right. New territory seems to be the norm for her to travel in her life. It is also nice to have caught this at the beginning also what seems to be a new series. The others that are in this also are part of the characters that add color to this already colorful story. It captures you from the start until the end so you will find it hard to leave it for very long if you have too.

In this with it being my first one in audible but love the writer I decided to try because I sometimes am running. Listening provided me with her rich stories starting with the first one that brings about a second chance. Clint and Lily begin again in a different way and different time having us follow them closely. Wanting to know if they can get it this time I stayed right with it. In rolling right into the next one was a delight with Cam and Ellie giving us their story. There seems to be that this one will be a second chance also. Seems first love can brand the deepest with rivers of feeling that we experience as they find a new path. And then Last but not least Colton will give us partial intrigue since it is his memory but not that kind lol. Memory that heat can be burned with a spark and us seeing the fuel that is used we race through this one not wanting to turn it off. The only draw back is I do wish that instead of voice changing that different people would be used for different characters but I suppose that would be a cost issue.
