Not much are happening

The story are slow.
The first book had a lot of potential, but I do not feel that in this book.
I have put it on on 2x speed. Just in hope that I can get through the book. (I ended with 2.50x speed as it still felt slow.

It begins with everything MC needs he just gets.
Everyone keep mention that hebis using southern coins, but no one think about giving him the kingdoms coin. (They are going to use the southern coins later. But the kingdoms coins as rewards would make sens)

A character from the first book, that was just an annoying person. For some reson the author likes him, so he makes him a guide.... That breaks some for the point of the MC is a guide. And let's just throw in a love story with this guy and an adventure.

Now that the guide part is irrelevant. MC is starting his own kingdom (or planing it)

Low/mid/high level er weird. We have heard about level 27 characters.
Seems like 1-10 are low level, 13 are mid level. But he talks about level 17 are high level, and at the same time that there are characters over level 100.

You can go from level 1-17 in 2 years. And random levels depending on class (And no one knows what level for the different classes) your class has to evolve. And it do not seem as common knowledge for adventures in the guild. So adventures average lifespan are around 1 year?
Well this new feature feels like something that is added to explain some character changes that was not thought of.

Spoiler:
The big fight are approaching. And you hear more about people training in the dungeon and how good training it is. Because they keeps dying. But MC keeps reviving them.
And when they finally have to fight. They find a way to keep getting back when killed outside the dungeon. So it's hard to feel anything for them. As they are not risking anything.
And the Big bad guy starts talking to them. But it's just one-two words comments. So it feels annoying and omenet as I guess it should feels like ominous.

It's okay. But we are now on book 10. And I miss we are still stuck in "I'm goodlike overpowered. And I can do anything" Please move the story on to where he is not overpowered and have some challenges.

Great idea. And has potential

Great idea with an Dungeon Avatar working as a Tour Guide.
It was missing something. There are a few obstacles to face. But he solve them without any problems, so it feels like it was nothing.
I hope it gets better in book two. As I said I feel like it has potential.

Good collection of Dad jokes

Nice feel good adventure. And a lot of Dad jokes in it. :-)
Don't expect a grand story. But a nice story about a simple old lich that has been a sleep for many years. And i untimely worken. And is not traveling to see what has changed and why.

Half the book is just explaining how the world works.

First half (20 something chapter's) is a SLOW tutorial that explains the world and how most of it works.
It could have been explained in less then 10 minutes.

When that is done MC meets more people. And even though it has been explained several times that MC is not likely to survive. And everyone else has a better change to survive. Then she keeps breaking the odds. And is the best at whatever see needs/want to do.

Meh. No challenge for the MC

The MC has no challenge. Get a quest. And Done. New quest and Done.
There are background characters. But no real side characters. Every time the MC is traveling, he bring a new background character with him. But they are really doing anything. And are doing something else when they get to the destination. So it's only the MC that solves the quest.

Better then book 2

I got book 2 and 3 on discount before I had heard book 2. I would not have gotten book 3 if I had heard book 2 first.

But book 2 starts better. It has a new story to tell. But I hope you remember who is who from book 1 and two. Because pretty much the only introduction is their names. And you have to remember who they are from the other books.
Sadly the story starts to be dreams. And a lot of nothing.

What a mess

It's nothing like the first book.
Most of the book is a retelling of the first book. But from a different person. And that person has some mental problems. So one of the charterers from the first book has been swapped with another. So the stories is difference. because the two persons would not acted the same. The last 1/5 of the book makes sense. And something if happening there.
Not worst it.

Necro Murder Mystery in Space

I like the Murder Mystery in space with necromancers. A few twists but not much. I hoped a lot from the next book (I was disappointed)
