Historia
A wave of refugees has arrived on the Sicilian coast, and Inspector Montalbano and his team have been stationed at port, alongside countless volunteers, to receive and assist the newcomers. Meanwhile, Livia has promised their presence at a friend's wedding, and the inspector, agreeing to get a new suit tailored, meets the charming master seamstress Elena Biasini. But while on duty at the dock one late night, tragedy strikes, and Elena is found gruesomely murdered. Between managing the growing crowds at port, Montalbano works to weave together the loose threads of the unsolved crimes.

Unsatisfying
Revisado: 04-16-20
The 1st half of the book has a repetitive account of the the landing of Syrian refugees which is informative but essentualy unrelated to the central crime of murder. As for the crime itself there were a number of instaces where the handling of evidence & witnesses (which I won't detail) was questionable More signicantly,. the resolution of the crime is wholly unsatisfactory.

Historia
1787. Captain Edward Brazier is on a mission: recently paid off from his frigate and comfortably off with prize money, he is headed to Deal to propose marriage to the young and lovely widow Betsey Langridge. He must navigate the bustle of the town's narrow streets that are busy with legal, illicit and depraved business flowing from and around the ships at dock. But all does not go well; between Betsey's brother and guardian, Henry Tulkington, prohibiting the match and Brazier marked out for trouble by a local smuggling gang, his plans are in disarray.

Unsatisfactory ending
Revisado: 03-05-18
An average storyline completely unsatisfactory due to the “ending” which was nothing more than an old time cliffhanger as when the heroine is tied to the railroad tracks awaiting the arrival of the hero or the Union Pacific. This boy k is nothing more than the first chapter in an ongoing serial.

Historia
Jack Mason is ready to kill. For 15 years he has plotted revenge from his prison cell. He has exercised daily, keeping his body and mind fit, and learned all he could about computers, so that he could be able to manipulate them at will. He will need to use all his mental powers to find Sobell, and all his merciless strength to kill him. An ex-CIA agent, Mason was jailed for spying on his country for the Russians. Sobell was the KGB colonel who recruited him and, when the scheme turned sour, sold him out.

boring
Revisado: 08-29-15
What disappointed you about Time to Kill?
The story was drawn out & boring. The narrator is English & his accent/diction, though otherwise acceptable, did not fit any of the American characters.
Would you be willing to try another one of Antony Ferguson’s performances?
possibly
