Every time i read a book in this series I want to reread the entire series. This is a book I did not want to like. It is about the ex-girlfriend of the one of the best mc's of all time. I wanted to hate her more. But this book makes you realize that shes just a young girl(super powered,kick ass girl),and she acted as all teens do. She was young and stupid,but she learned from her mistakes. You feel proud of her and want to see what happens next. That is remarkable writing. To make people go from hating her to wanting to hear more about her is great work.

Logan jacobs make filler books, you know the type, you have an extra credit and your favorite authors book isnt out yet. So you buy a book that sounds interesting. I did that and am so glad i did. This is a very good book. The harem aspects are annoying but its logan jacobs specialty so you know its coming(pun intended).

Michael chatfield has an amazing abilty to make magical new worlds.. then make them boring. Let me explain. First let me say he is a great author,and one of my favorites. I have noticed when he starts a new series it is always worth buying, always a great read,you can read it over and over. With that said it never evolves. After the first book its the same no surprises nothing new. If you read the first couple of books in this series this book is more of the same.next books will be the same too. It not a bad book just more of the first. Emerilia was the same. By the end of that series I just wanted the story to end. Its sad but this story is turning out the same way.

I loved it

Ive read this book many times and love the world building. This book has one of the best openings, the first few chapters had me hooked. Loved the narrator, great story,and the way the story blends classic lore with modern knowledge is amazing.this book made me a huge fan of all work by Daniel schinhofen.

Almost perfect

First off I loved the narration, second this series is the authors best work,and lastly listening to this book had me laughing loudly as I was working.parts were very funny.the action never seems repeatative,and the story was interesting. I cant wait for the next book, even if it has bad puns.

This book is much better than the first. More world(s) building, more references, less sexual content. This book is much more humorous than its predecessor. When it comes to books im very hard to please but this author has definitely made me a fan. Cant wait for book 3.

Mc is Canadian

After I bought this book I read reviews, and was worried that it was maybe a poor choice.
After I listened too the book I realized that the mc is Canadian, there for his attitude and lack of cussing makes sense.ok book I like it and the no cussing does get annoying but if you realize he is from a different culture it makes sense.
