Historia
After a player-led event turns his once peaceful town into a band of ravenous monsters, Hirrus obtains a sentience usually unobtainable by non-player characters. It might be a gift of the gods, or a mistake, but Hirrus doesn’t care. It means he can track down and find the players responsible and stop them from doing it again.

Memorable character, fun ride
Revisado: 01-17-23
First chapter or two was slow to me but really happy I stuck with it. I like that the ability points are not the traditional strength, agility, etc. The game system is unique and doesn't require the constant reading of ability updates for pages that others do in this genre. Looking forward to book 2.

Historia
Qube was designed to die.... As the cheerful childhood NPC companion who helps the [Player] learn the world during the start of the game, it was only natural that the big bad would kill her at the end of the tutorial, kick-starting the [Player] on a quest for vengeance. The only thing is, no one told her that.... And this particular [Player] doesn’t like to play by the rules. Being a chaos-loving gremlin, he glitches her out of her programming loop and drags her on various adventures. They'll grapple with friendly sharktopuses, evil emperors, and what it means to be a person.

Hidden gem
Revisado: 12-05-22
Throughly enjoyed the book systems being explained through other characters and interactions, understanding the mechanics of the world wasn't disruptive. I did feel the world was too gentle (corruption finds a way) but aligns well to the narrative.
If you want to meet interesting characters develop in unique ways, this is it.

Great characters, ends too soon.
Revisado: 11-27-22
With the subject being eldritch horrors, I expected horror, insanity and a bit more finess in the writing.
Did I enjoy the book, absolutely. I have this rating based on length, execution and subject. The author makes wonderful characters but the plot is too blunt and short.

Highly recommend for gritty superhero fans. The book feels like later years punisher or maybe Rorschach. Solid story, characters, and narrator.

Revisado: 08-21-20
I really on do fantasy and fantasy litrpg but, was lucky enough to receive this by luck of the draw.
Once I realized the book was a shooting rpg I was apprehensive about the experience, I was wrong. Plotting and scheming are core to the experience, flavored by the shooting. Feels more like organized crime and espionage than gta.
The personality of characters are unique and interesting. The plot kept me invested the whole ride. I also did not feel any character was overpowered. I highly recommend this book with two cavets, the story takes a bit to get momentum and I wish a female voice actor could of done the female characters.
Excited for the next book.

Story too short, concern.
Revisado: 07-04-20
I enjoyed the explanation and choices of the MC, overall the book feels like little to no progress in the story was made. Also if smega is mentioned again in this series I might be done. Excessively gross and sexual references ditracted from the experience for me. If the book had more character interactions and progress I would have rated the book higher. The joy of exploration and mystery from the earlier books in the series is mild in this addition. Overall concerned for this series.
