Historia
"If Robert Littell didn't invent the American spy novel," says Tom Clancy, "he should have." In this spectacular Cold-War-as-Alice-in-Wonderland epic, Littell, "the American le Carre," takes us down the rabbit hole and into the labyrinthine world of espionage that has been the CIA for the last half-century. "Ostensibly a single novel, The Company can also be listened to as an anthology of cracking good spy stories," says ( Publishers Weekly).

just alright
Revisado: 06-24-11
I've read many books of the same genre and this one was different in that it is much more vast and equally character and event driven. It gave some interesting perspectives on historic events but was just so long and slow paced that I found myself anxious just to finish it so I could pick up a better read next.

not bad at all
Revisado: 02-17-10
Not a bad book at all. Good character building and descriptions. The book seems to be the beginning of a series so much of the book is devoted to explaining a new world. The world it lays out is unique as far as I know. The book should be classified as fantasy though and not horror.

Not a bad effort. But the problem is that this is not a complete book. The story does not have a climax nor resolution. It's sad that a book can be published which is obviously just a build up towards getting you to read the whole series. Well, as for me I was not interested enough in the story or characters to get the resolution I should have gotten in this book.
