What the heck was with the narration?!
Revisado: 03-12-20
This is seriously some of the worst narration I've ever heard on Audible. What's worse? THey wouldn't let me return it for an exchange. I'm not eve sure if the story was good as I couldn't make it past the narration.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Ron & Thom are the power team of good old-fashioned "ghost story" audio books. What's not to love? You've got a villain that's a force to be reckoned with and an imperfect hero who does what he has to do to get the job done.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Town of Griswold?
Spoiler:
When Shane is in Able's grave, and he gets burned. It was a pulse pounding, cringe-worthy scene.
What does Thom Bowers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
To me Thom Bowers = Shane Ryan. His performance brings Shane to life, and I'm not sure another performer would feel the same or be as good.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
They thought it would be a pleasant walk in the country.....

Historia
Ex-marine Shane Ryan is a ghost hunter whose troubled past haunts him almost as much as the ghosts he encounters in the line of duty. He's the best. And his reward for excellence? The punishment of being in high demand for jobs to eradicate the worst kind of ghosts - the kind that kill.

Ron does it again!
Revisado: 03-02-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Lighthouse to be better than the print version?
I love both but, in this day and age, time is at a premium. Audible has brought "reading" back into my life.
What did you like best about this story?
Although it was the second in the series, it really stood on it's own. It was great to see Shane back in action. The storyline kept me engaged, and I found it interesting.
What does Thom Bowers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Thom's narration really adds to the overall experience of the story. Shane Ryan would not be the same without Thom to bring Ron's character to life. The same applies to the other recurring characters. I especially like the accents he uses.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
His past haunts him almost as much as the ghosts he encounters in the line of duty.

STAY AWAY FROM THE POND!
Revisado: 01-11-17
Would you consider the audio edition of Berkley Street to be better than the print version?
No, I feel like although the same story, they were really stand alone experiences, great in their own way. That being said, lately, I enjoy audio books because of time constraints.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot was great, but I felt like it wrapped up too quickly. It's something I often experience though. Really great building tension, building tension, stilllll building tension..........then BOOM tidy ending. I don't want to say anticlimactic, but something akin to it. Still, I'd recommend it.
What about Thom Bowers’s performance did you like?
Thom did a great job creating the characters. The voices while distinctly his, were definitely recognizable as who they were meant to be. He's among my favorite narrators.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
More so in the beginning, but later not as much. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but the story engaged me more up front. Overall, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Good job , Ron.

An entertaining, albeit quick, listen.
Revisado: 07-27-16
If you could sum up Moving In in three words, what would they be?
Ghosts, iron, salt.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would have developed the story a little more. It sort of read like a novelization of a movie. A little more character depth, and depth in general, would have been great.
Have you listened to any of Andrew Tell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I'm sure that I've heard any of Andrew Tell's other performances, but this one seemed OK.
If you could take any character from Moving In out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Without a doubt, it would have to be Leonidas. However, I'm assuming, he'd politely decline.
