Too slow
Revisado: 07-29-23
I couldn’t finish it. The story was too slow, the narrator’s accent was annoying, I just got bored. Listening in the car supposed to make time go by faster not slower.

Love the narration. Good story. Kind of a creepy prologue, but I'm glad I kept going.

This was a fantastic book. It definitely makes today’s politics seem absurd. The narration was incredible. I just can’t say enough positive, it was life-changing.

This is the kind of book that I could not stop listening to. It’s not at all what I thought it would be, and I love that. Definitely an entertaining read

I loved this book!
Revisado: 01-24-20
The male narrator was excellent. The story was so well written. I was enthralled from the beginning to the end and loved the few surprises that I wasn’t expecting. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes in love. I hated for it to end.

I enjoyed the narrator, and the author had me really feeling sorry for this boy Marcus. His young faith was definitely stronger than most. This would be a great book especially for young readers—middle school, high school who need to see some of the awful effects of bullying, as well as the Christian perspective

Historia
This live performance of a powerful police procedural comes to life through the artistry of Celeste Lecesne and is accompanied by the original music of Duncan Sheik. Celeste portrays every character in a small Jersey Shore town as they unravel the story of Leonard Pelkey, a tenaciously optimistic and flamboyant 14-year-old boy who has gone missing. A luminous force of nature whose magic is only truly felt once he is gone, Leonard becomes an unexpected inspiration as the town’s citizens question how they live, who they love, and what they leave behind.

I really like the information and content of this book. But, I wish I had bought it and read it in book form because listening to her narrate her own book felt like five hours of someone yelling in my face. Maybe this method works for live seminars or for some people, but for me it was like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Historia
As an old house is demolished in a gentrifying section of London, a workman discovers a tiny skeleton, buried for years. For journalist Kate Waters, it's a story that deserves attention. She cobbles together a piece for her newspaper, but at a loss for answers, she can only pose a question: Who is the Building Site Baby? As Kate investigates, she unearths connections to a crime that rocked the city decades earlier: A newborn baby was stolen from the maternity ward in a local hospital and was never found.

Hard to get through
Revisado: 03-14-19
The story is just okay, because it drags. I am forcing myself to finish it, but the narration is just lousy, almost annoying. I've never disliked a narrator before. Usually they are either great, good, or fine. This time - it's almost ruining the story.
