Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

bad Book!
Revisado: 01-05-22
The entire premise of this book is immature and in believable. Whoever in healthcare helped this author with the rudimentary medical facts should be ashamed of themself. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.

Historia
We are facing an overwhelming army of deadly, invisible enemies. We need a plan - before it's too late. Unlike natural disasters, whose destruction is concentrated in a limited area over a period of days, and illnesses, which have devastating effects but are limited to individuals and their families, infectious disease has the terrifying power to disrupt everyday life on a global scale, overwhelming public and private resources and bringing trade and transportation to a grinding halt.

Excellent read!
Revisado: 04-09-20
Especially considering our world pandemic situation today, this book outlines what could and DID happen. Chapter 18 is almost verbatim our daily news update now although the book was published in 2017.

Minimally interesting plot. Surely no man has such an alluring effect on every woman he meets...even a successful pilot and mayor. Not worth the listen.

After suffering stinging defeats in the 1960 presidential election against John F. Kennedy, and in the 1962 California gubernatorial election, Nixon's career was declared dead by Washington press and politicians alike. Yet on January 20, 1969, just six years after he had said his political life was over, Nixon would stand taking the oath of office as 37th President of the United States. The Pat Buchanan Story
Revisado: 10-23-18
I was looking for a good book about Nixon but found one more about Buchanan. Much of history and the true story of those years is missed.
