Extremely boring
Revisado: 04-01-24
A good idea for a book but made tedious by the characters and the situations arise. This belongs in the dollar store romance section

There's a murderer on the loose - but that doesn't stop the girls of St. Etheldreda's from attempting to hide the death of their headmistress in this rollicking farce. The students of St. Etheldreda's School for Girls face a bothersome dilemma. Their irascible headmistress, Mrs. Plackett, and her surly brother, Mr. Godding, have been most inconveniently poisoned at Sunday dinner.

Monotone narrator and not that interesting
Revisado: 09-02-21
My daughter had to read this for school so I listened to it on audiobook. It is very long winded with lots of boring details. While the concept is interesting Scott Kelly’s writing makes it feel dull and boring.

Historia
Dame Sue Black is an internationally renowned forensic anthropologist and human anatomist. She has lived her life eye to eye with the Grim Reaper, and she writes vividly about it in this book, which is part primer on the basics of identifying human remains, part frank memoir of a woman whose first paying job as a schoolgirl was to apprentice in a butcher shop, and part no-nonsense but deeply humane introduction to the reality of death in our lives. It is a treat for CSI junkies, murder mystery and thriller fans, and anyone seeking a clear-eyed guide to a subject that touches us all.

Author is more interested in herself than telling a story
Revisado: 08-31-21
The book starts off well and is very informative and makes you feel connected to her profession but unfortunately she spends the last third of the book being more interested in telling you how good she and her team are rather than any actual story or facts. That gets boring quickly.
It is narrated at a very slow pace.

It was good to better understand Dickens but the book was quite weak and had told everything it had to tell within the first couple of chapters.

Monotonous
Revisado: 07-11-19
the story is basically one chapter repeated over and over with the author seemingly taking joy in the fact that China will win the AI race and control everything. He is not able to hide his smugness. the narrator is very poor with a monotonus voice to match the story.
I stopped half way through at hearing the same thing for the 5th time

Badly written and badly read
Revisado: 01-22-19
The author repeats himself so many times it gets tedious very quickly.
The narrator reads like he is a news anchor who cares less about the subject matter.
I was looking forward to this book and I am so disappointed by it.
