This book was a very insightful read. The monotone made it difficult to listen to more than 30-60 minutes at a time, but it was also a lot to process and think about as well. I definitely plan on listening to this again to absorb more of the context and pay attention to the abundance of scripture quoted!

Most of the stories in this composition were wonderful and I greatly enjoyed them (I will probably relisten to them again), but the story "Withering Heights" was a tougher story to listen to but the actors did an excellent job reading their parts.

Heartbreaking then heartwarming

This story was intriguing, informative, and captivating. I had no idea some of the horrific things mentioned in this story happened during WWII, and then how helpful people from all countries were in trying to help those in need. It was an interesting portrayal of the different sides of the story. The readers did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life.
